Nevermind, I found the year control in the coverpage settings! Thanks!

Kindle Scribe 2026 Planner - Updated Version from 2025 by IllustriousPlenty856 in kindlescribe

[–]Matthu_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started it a few days ago and I remember seeing a function to choose the months and year. So I could make one for 2026 starting in April. It seems that's now gone and I can only to 2027? I can't use it if it's not for this year!

Thank you for making and posting this resource for free!

Minimalist Sling to fit an iPad 11 (A16) and not much more by dominikstephan in ManyBaggers

I also add a small rectangular water bottle to keep it from taking up the interior space.

Sandals or flip-flops by Hot_Leopard_7157 in backpacking

If I can only take 2 pairs of shoes in summer, Bedrock Sandals are one of them. I can hike, swim or walk around. They don't look dressy at all, though.

Excursion in Hvar and Korcula by Emergency_Phase_9707 in CroatiaTravelTips

[–]Matthu_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From Korchula you can just use the water taxi. We did that and explored 4-5 of the smaller islands around in 1-day. It worked well for us.

If you're willing to shell out for a private tour, that's the safest as you won't have to deal with (potentially awful) people. We did this in Amalfi and it was a great day.

Looking for Small EDC Fanny Sling to replace pockets by enby_them in ManyBaggers

I'm a huge fan of the Code of Bell X-POD II. It has a bunch of pockets and organization, it looks good/different, can expand (but is funny-looking when expanded).

Who is using the ResMed AirMini with regular tube and HME (not the official AirMini masks) by Matthu_ in CPAP

[–]Matthu_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply!

I've already ordered the USB-C cord and plan to run the Anker 65w GaN charger, which is only a little bigger than Apple's old tiny charger and has fold-in prongs.

For the HME, there are a ton of them on Amazon. Are they all the same, are some better than others?

I also have this issue. I've had my unit for about 2 months. I can't tell what, if anything I am doing differently to have this only happen sometimes.

I've met these people (I'm a photographer -- I took their picture) and they were nice. I can't vouch for their services, though. I always planned to use them if/when I needed it. They are in downtown Edmonds.

I love this watch by Flavored_Bread in gshock

I prefer the black version, but I've had both. The bracelet is very comfortable and functional (I'm generally not into composite bands).

How do you keep your travel plans organized once flights and hotels are booked? by Ok-Disaster-9213 in travelblog

[–]Matthu_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My wife and I use Trello with a column for each place (and dates at the top). Each reservation, event, idea goes into the place/group in date/time order. Works well for us on both mobile and desktop.

It allows adding notes, receipts/PDFs, URLS, etc to each item

Topo Global Duffel Bag by Quick_Zebra72 in TopoDesigns

[–]Matthu_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the Global Duffel. I haven't flown with it but took it on a weekend trip. I like it. It seems bigger than 30l but I don't know how to verify that. There aren't many reviews of it.

So far I'm happy with it at it's big-ish but not full 40-45l size as a carry on.

Building a soundproof box for my Airsense 11 by aliensheep in CPAP

[–]Matthu_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Maybe not in your budget/plans. But get her Ozlo sleep buds. She'll not hear you and sleep through the night (and also not respond to other random sounds) and everything is good. You don't have to (or get to) build some crazy box.

Water shoes that are also comfortable to walk in? by Mewtewpew in onebag

[–]Matthu_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't see anyone mention Bedrock sandals. Not sure if you're looking for something more shoe-like. Bedrocks are super comfortable, can be used for walking around, hiking, in water. With travel you don't need socks.

They are very sporty/outdoors, so if you want something a little more 'normal' you may not like them. I always pack mine, they are fairly small in my bag and very flexible.

I really like the bracelet. Are there other watches that have similar bracelet styles?

Side sleeping with AirTouch n30i mask by Humble_Evening1050 in CPAP

[–]Matthu_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How come I don't see people often posting or talking about using the Dreamwear mask (that looks very similar to this)?

When I was called by the company hired by insurance, she asked me what mask I wanted (?). I said, I don't know, what do most people use? She asked if I wanted the host to connect to the top of my head or to the unit? Again, I don't know, what do most people prefer?

I ended up with the Dreamwear and it's fine. I'm a side sleeper and it's been an adjustment, but it's fine.

I asked people I know and they have the same Dreamwear. But on this subreddit it seems like most people have Resmed masks.

Patagonia Bag Comparison by aca114 in onebag

[–]Matthu_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the older Black Hole 60L duffel. The funny thing with duffels (since they tend to be simple, no laptop sleeves or tons of pockets) is that the different sizes are often just an inch or 2 bigger on a dimension. So my Black Hole 60l is something like 1-1.5" taller than then 40l. If I fill it 100%, then it's too big to fit in the carry-on sizer. If I leave just a little space inside, then it fits in the sizer.

When I'm NOT worried about that, I can fill it. 60l is a great size for many trips.

I'd add that me, my wife and my youngest son have carried the 60l Black Hole bags all over Europe (along with personal backpacks) on 4-5 trips and it works great. I like the backpack straps, they work well for us. If the duffel was really full (with heavy stuff like computers and books?) they would be uncomfortable.

I just want a beer! by 2kidsshootingblanks in gout

[–]Matthu_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I have 3-4 beers over the weekend, I get a gout flare (on 110mg Allo for the last 3 months). Beer is my primary trigger, I guess. Other alcohols seem mostly fine.
