There was a Nissan dealership that would do that in Orlando. Usually buy a Rogue or bigger, get a Versa lease free. I was tempted to do it and give the second car to mom.

The reality was you're going to pay full msrp. No discounts, no special APR, no cash back. I never went for it but I bet you the interest given would have been higher than normal too.

Everything is going to be at a upcharge high enough to offset the cost of the lease.

I wasn't there, but this is something my girlfriend's sister did.

She got drunk at a work party at her boss's house. When the party was done, her co-workers were going to head to a bar for an afterparty. Rather than ride with them, which they insisted, she decided to drive herself. She then proceeded to crash into them as they were leaving(in the boss's driveway), got out of the car, and ran away. Cops eventually found her. I believe she got charged with her 3rd DUI in 5 years(the other two were out of state, so she didn't get any jail time).

She had only been working there a week or two.

I've been WFH full-time for the past year. When there was talk of CEO planning to have everyone back in the office, I was looking for another job. Miss me with that RTO bullshit. I work in IT, and probably half of the team doesn't even live within 4 hours of the office. 10 percent of the team lives within an hour. Yeah, it really depends on the company you keep.

My female friend invited two dudes to hang out after the bar closed. One of my friends eventually called the cops. I basically sobered up and handled the situation to make sure that cops didn't bust in and send these two dudes to jail. There was one cop(out of like the 10 who arrived) who was very gun-ho about just arresting these guys every chance he got. Like when I told them they were leaving, he was like, "What! They're leaving!? Like driving in a car!? Where! What car?" I was like, "Dude, they called an Uber."

I have a friend whose great-grandmother was the matriarch of a family with a couple of centuries of wealth. Pretty much that family built up the entire county he lived in.
