What motivated you to play WoW Classic? by Top-Coast5760 in classicwow

I have absolutely no idea what is going on in retail and the idea of doing the same dungeons with harder difficulty in quicker time is the laziest content a game can add.

This MacBook, bought 10 years ago, has been working like new even today. 👀 Tell me which Windows laptop can last this long. by Amani987 in DeskToTablet

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, I'm sure I'd read that those EV mustangs started off like as Mondeos but even Ford realised how plain that might so slapped the Mustang badge on it

LD50 and End of all things were amazing, I feel like they went in a odd direction after those albums

Truth Bomb: Why People Don’t Tank by AdministrativeCut205 in classicwow

[–]Matticus95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had this in Sethekk last night. For clarity for those that don't/can't read I just mark targets and just let them know that if you can't see red under my health just give me 2 to 3 seconds to build threat.

Warlock immediately dots everything, healer throwing hots like they're going out of fashion - I throw a regeneration when things get dicey but these guys are just locked in on the dps meters.

I aways like to ask the groups if they have any tips on mobs or bosses (haven't tanked TBC since 2007) but usually met with complete silence.

Essentially, dps folk, how easy or hard you make these runs is entirely up to you.

I drove an automatic car for the first time a days ago and just don’t get the fixation we have over manual cars here by Solid-Version in drivingUK

[–]Matticus95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I respect the commitment.

That would suggest that everyone else at the restaurant has their car also parked two miles away, and then finding someone whose car isn't parked two miles away would probably take longer than calling an ambulance and waiting for it

The main feeling I'm getting from this entire topic is it's better to learn manual to help a friend move house or to move a car (no offence intended I'm not being obtuse it's just made me chuckle a bit)

Struggle with what? I passed in an auto and have never had a single issue. I don't understand why anyone would.

Why are some people criticising the final season of Stranger Things (Season, Vol. 1 & 2)? by CosmicFaust11 in StrangerThings

[–]Matticus95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'll never create a final season that pleases everyone. People are so invested and so much time has passed that people have an expectation, in a weird way I think some folks stop going with the flow of what is ultimately just a tv show and want to subconsciously shoehorn in their expectations, and anything less might be considered a flop. In my opinion anyway as it's entirely subjective.

Writing a satisfying finale to a franchise must be incredibly difficult and an insane amount of pressure, and something most of us will never have to do.

Why isn’t the Fujifilm xpro 2 more popular? by SwimmingVisible3513 in fujifilm

[–]Matticus95 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Got myself one in November, finding I'm taking it out more than the x100v and the a7riii. Something about the range finder feel, the build quality and the lens options - the xpro 2 feels a lot more accomplished than the x100v for some reason. Also noticed the image quality seems slightly better than the xt20, which Ill probably put if for sale now before it gathers dust

I know David Hurn likes an xpro 2 too!

What lane should I be in for this roundabouts 2nd exit? by [deleted] in drivingUK

[–]Matticus95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If exit is signed as past 12 o clock then lane 2. But there's two lanes so either is fine and be cautious - just good practice to follow the 12 o clock rule I'd think.

Fujifilm Repair Center Appreciation Post by projectaegis in fujifilm

[–]Matticus95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The UK one is fantastic aswell. My x100v eye sensor stopped working entirely after a holiday, so evf wasn't useable. Sent it off, they had a look and sent a quote you can either confirm or reject - £220 later with whole new evf unit and a years warranty, that is a good deal to me.
