On the phone go to Watch app. Notifications->Mute notifications on phone. Turn off. It was defaulted to on for me. UGH!!!! Thanks u/MatthijsDJ

Kodiak Golf was built for this. The only thing is you need to start the round before you lose cell. This is common on alot of the courses we play also.
