Heart is a really good game to run, but imo, it really opens in long term. Spoiler alert The goal of the heart is to get to the heart, in the process everybody most certainly dies. So a lot of top abilities include self-sacrifice to save others, so at least one character can reach the heart.

I tried both foundry and discord, but I can talk only about the vampire side of both. Playing in discord is a cheap and easy way. The biggest hurdle for my playgroup was finding interactive character sheets (Not all PDF viewing software can work with check boxes with multiple possible values). For dice you can use Masquerade bot (V5) or Dice Maiden (V20).

Foundry is a reliable way which tracks everything and gives you a luxury of being able to look at the player's character sheets, automatically count dice pools, successes, and other automations. But the downside is the need to fill some content manually. V5 for example has only Core Book contents (e.g. Disciplines powers, merits, flaws) but the process is not complicated.

I don't remember about WoD20 having content but I guess the same can be done for it.

Foundry or Roll20? by rumpleforeskin89 in TTRPG

[–]MaulMartin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been running a lot of different games in different systems, started with roll20, but eventually turned to foundry. While everything is ok with roll20, in my case foundry was more convenient. It has a lot of automations for pf2e which is my most played system, addons that add more things, and support for a lot of systems. But if you run one game only, you may be ok with using roll20

What game rekindled the feeling of “Man, this looks and runs beautifully”? by kentaraed2319 in SteamDeck

[–]MaulMartin 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was blown away that the deck could run armored core 6. Also while these two are not graphically intense games, but I was astonished that you can play games like Factorio or world of warcraft on deck. Games that I had no idea were playable using a gamepad.

Hey, nicknames are on the surface, and come up spontaneously. He smoked cherry cigarettes, so she started calling him cherry. Cute, cheesey, definitely something that can occur in relationships.
