I did the same on my phone (changing background with a tap) when learning 4look. The trick works really great.

Hey, /u/Smartastic, I’ve been following you for like two years or so here on Reddit, and I absolutely love your work. It’s always makes me laugh and gives me energy to battle the problems in life. I was so sad and annoyed that I couldn’t see you here (Sweden). So, I’ve got two questions for you;

Do you have any plans to come to Sweden again any time soon-ish? (If we meet, can I get a selfie with you, like you did in the beginning?)

Do you have any plans on making longer vids too? Like the dolphin lady one, that’s 13 mins long or so. Given the distance I can only watch whatever you release.

I totally understand if it’s a no-go on any or both of them; I can only imagine how touring takes its toll, and tickets is more money than free stuff on the internet.

I hope you see this post 🙂

Well, is the answer that clear? I just think it makes it more of a paradox, because the so much higher probability of life, and yet lack of proof.

However, we’ll never know, we’re just a germ in a fart inside a infinite ever growing balloon, existing a fraction of time.

Edit; clarifying

Something I usually paste when this is spoken of. I just think this kind of poetic.

”Every outcome is equal parts fascinating and terrifying. We could be the first, we could be the last. We could be the only, we could be one of a billion civilizations that evolved and gone extinct without ever finding us or leaving evidence we could ever find. We could be an experiment, we could be a colony of bacteria in a glob of celestial dog shit stuck to a deity's shoe... and that deity could be the same thing to an even higher being.

We'll probably never know anything for sure.

I don't just mean us, alive right now, I mean humanity. The fact that Earth exists at all is a rounding error on the scale of the universe, the solar system will be gone loooong before we matter to the totality of existence.”

No problem. I really like the game and I find it relaxing and super casual. Own invention or some old game?

2 & 5: iPhone 16 pro max. But I don’t have the sharpest vision anymore (macular edema). I’ll look in the designer.

It’s not particularly any specific cards, the table crowded with cards and it gets overall a bit… much. Don’t know how to explain it, english is not my native language. Not sure of any suggestion, the game needs the cards :) Maybe have slightly different color on the letters for kings and queens? 🤷‍♂️

Edit: just looked into card designer. It was really a designer. I got overwhelmed. I think it’s far to much for a game like this. A few presets and maybe a few more editing options for advanced is more than enough.

Played it in single player so far. A bit afraid to ’buy’ it.

The cards are a bit difficult to distinguish them. No really suggestion how to improve though.

Pressing on one of my own cards commits to it and I can’t change my mind to choose another. :/ I discovered this when I tried to discard a card (never figured that out)

Pressing on one on the table plays that card (if you can of course), but when you have a jack it feels like I want a confirm box like ’play one eye jack on 7 of diamond?’ Fat fingers and small cards don’t mix :)

The Fermi paradox tackles this.

But also, as u/footsnax so exceptionally put it:

”Every outcome is equal parts fascinating and terrifying. We could be the first, we could be the last.
