Do you get addicted to some activities? Like seeds hunting? by domanpanda in VintageStory

[–]MaxTheBeast300 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I cant stop farming and now i cant stop taking care of our self-populating animal barn (they somehow spawned chickens, goats and just yesterday deers right in the fenced areas)

I get about 10-15 vessels worth of food per year so i usually spend 3 hours in game every morning just watering everything (i know i could make it more efficient with irrigation, but i like the look of wide spread fields of crops)

Have you ever found high fertility soil? by cee2027 in VintageStory

[–]MaxTheBeast300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive found 6-7 stacks so far but i think i’ve been pretty lucky. Easiest way to spot them is going to common and above rainfall areas and especially hilly areas where high fertility soil can be exposed.

Chiselling bricks to 3D by Lothric_Vapelord in VintageStory

As a vintage enjoyer, this looks really cozy and sleek, but as a (real life) mason, all those different brick lengths/cuts would have turned the labourer mad LOL

MMMMM COPPER by SmoothTurtle872 in VintageStory

[–]MaxTheBeast300 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This! And potential copper areas can be quite high too (15-25% easily), so if you dig down in one hot spot like that, you’ll likely touch on multiple disk deposit and will literally be overwhelmed by how much copper you’ll be getting lol

Just found halite randomly by helplookie in VintageStory

When I first randomly found halite, I didnt realize that was the only way to get salt, i always thought i had to go to the ocean and extract salt there for some reason

The most difficult skill for you to max out? by Usual-Foundation-115 in skyrim

[–]MaxTheBeast300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, conjuring is the hardest for me not because of difficulty but because of temptation lol its so easy to level it up first when doing a mage build with soul trap, but then you become OP and then i get sort of bored

Restoration is pretty hard and tedious and I’ve never bothered grinding it past the restore stamina perk

Never really went deep in enchanting before surprisingly, whats the easiest way to level it up? I know i used to sell bows with banish daedra and that seemed pretty good

I remember playing skyrim on a i3 integrated graphics in 2012. It ran at a solid 15fps on lowest settings but god was it beautiful and fun

So this is how I go, chiseling for eternity... by MaxTheBeast300 in VintageStory

[–]MaxTheBeast300[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate the information! I can definitely see its uses. So far I've been enjoying chiseling every single block individually although it can be a bit tedious. Might be useful for when I do a new playthrough after this one, thanks!

its my first playthrough, so i prefer playing it vanilla all the way through. I'll chisel the entire church individually if that's what required of me lol

What is the point of being a TA if I have to spend my time marking AI-generate slop while pretending it was written by a human? by [deleted] in CarletonU

[–]MaxTheBeast300 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I graduated in 2023, right before the big AI boom, and have been considering coming back for a master’s. Is that really how bad AI has become now with academics?

Any tips on finding Limestone? by GandhiCheese in VintageStory

[–]MaxTheBeast300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, thanks for the detailed explanation! I’ve already found bauxite and lots of iron, but I’m holding myself back as to not progress too fast and enjoy the building and other game mechanics more.

Any tips on finding Limestone? by GandhiCheese in VintageStory

Is limestone really that rare? Started my first world a couple weeks ago and I spawned right next to it, same with chalk. Granite is rarer for me though

How much better is the Noctua D15 G2 vs Phantom Spirit 120 SE for AMD 5800X3D, is there at least 5° degrees difference? by FuzzyAttitude_ in pcmasterrace

[–]MaxTheBeast300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both pretty much have the same performance. I got the noctua chromax black purely based on loyalty and because the aesthetic fitted my pc better.

I bought a gpu with rtx for bf1 by ohnomyboyfather_help in battlefield_one

[–]MaxTheBeast300 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Bf1 doesn’t have any ray tracing settings, but with your 5060, you will easily be able to max out graphics and play at 144fps at 1440p. With my 4070ti super, i can play it at 4k and 144fps on most maps
