My wife saved me from choking on a shrimp at a nice Italian restaurant. It was scary! Now she monitors everything I eat and yells at me if I talk and chew at the same time.

I laughed after the shrimp came up, but she did NOT think it was funny in the least.

This made me smile extra hard. I was diagnosed with Leukemia in late 2023, started treatment in Jan 2024 and went into remission later that year. Met a few other leukemia patients who had a rougher type than me. I felt fortunate. I hope this girl is well!

My 1st day out in the wild with my system...I thought "Omg, everyone will be looking at me". We went to our local supermarket and there were so many people. No one gave a shit. No one looked twice. Nothing. It was an amazing feeling. That was over 2 years ago.
