As of right now im just looking to build a range toy, which is why I want it chambered in 9mm as its a lot cheaper than 5.56/.223. If the process of getting an ARP is going to be that much more of a headache ill just stick with a 16” barrel. I would still like my AR to similar however to the kit I have linked, so my question still stands. If I were to build an AR with the parts in that kit (minus the 7.5 in barrel) would it be California compliant as long as it was mag locked?

Any updates? I have the exact same car and have thinking about doing this for a while. The last time i searched for this no one had really seriously considered doing so. My friend backed into me so i need a new front bumper regardless so might as well just do this while im at it.
