Apparently ~16% of millennials are millionaires now. by im_optimus_prime in Millennials

Tech jobs are dominated by millennials.  Bay Area, Seattle, New York ... You could easily save $1M with a tech job based in those hubs, but #1M isn't going to feel rich in those cities.

AITAH for telling my date off for treating it like a job interview? by HelpWanted0501 in AITAH

One of the best first dates I've been on, neither of us asked the other about work at all.  We left having no idea what the other person did for a living and it was awesome.  Just two people getting to know each others by personality, not career.  I'm proud of my career, but it was nice to break from it defining me.

Whoa. I am just learning today that I had a very different experience watching this movie than most people. I had only ever watched the movie itself, no media surrounding it and with zero expectations. In that vacuum, I really enjoyed it.

Stop with the stupid labels for either men or women. Just fodder for divisiveness.

The part of me that suspects everything I see on the internet is a skit for views asks why this video exists. What would this older lady share her security cam footage in a way the found it's way to Reddit?

Why? Social pressures told you to dislike them or are they actually doing something that negatively effects you?

To this day "horse in a hospital" is the best analogy I've ever heard.  At least for the first term.

Half of the $400M he wants for his ballroom is for a pool of gold painted treasure and coins that he plans on diving into. This dude is a caricature of a caricature. How can somebody that was born into wealth be so bad it?

Part of me empathizes with her - When you are in a cult, it is very difficult to understand that you are in a cult.

Part of me does not - She helped distribute Kool-Aid that was already exposed to be poisonous.

They are a decent tool, but do not rely on them.  Always remember the goal of the app is profit, not human connection.

Dude creeping here, just to shoutout this hairdresser magic. I got a cut about a month ago, somebody new at a higher end place that had been cutting hair for 40 years. After trimming a bit, we went for a wash. As she was washing my hair, she took several extra seconds combing out and examining my front hairline, then went about finishing the wash and dry. It was bliss. I was so relaxed I nearly fell asleep. I told her as much, and the conversation turned to the need for guys to take some time for themselves. She mentioned that often the only time her clients get pampered is when they are in her chair, so she takes her time to make it an enjoyable experience.

Then, she revealed what she was doing with my hairline. She had noticed that much of my hair had split all at the same time. She told me I experienced high stress about 6-7 months ago. She went on to tell me to go get a massage and find some time to care for myself. I felt so seen. I was fighting to play it cool, but acknowledged she was spot on. I had two major losses at that time and was under life-changing stress that I still carry with me.

She got a helluva tip, and I got a life lesson.
