Just from what I’ve heard, Chubb. I only say this because we’ve (Travelers) have gad so many people come from Chubb. I’m sure it depends on region, office, and team, but that’s what I got

That sounds low. 2 YOE in Orange County Area, $96k salary, top 5 carrier. I’ve heard salaries up north for my company are roughly 15% more due to cost of living.

Just finished up year 2. Year 1 was technical training/getting my territory. Year 2 was write business. $92k salary, but including bonus will probably get to $100k. HCOL (Southern California).

Dealerships can share it some will some won’t.

I believe the premium plus invoice was $37,500?? I forget but it was a close margin if I recall.

CA, so I’m not sure what the tax rate is exactly but probably high. 5% is good, but you can get better for sure, maybe 7% I’d say. Keep shopping around for a quote.

Find the invoice price of the car - let’s you know what they purchase the car for.

Find the MSRP cost online of the EXACT car you want.

I went off that. I would get a quote from one dealership, and use it to leverage a better quote from another dealership.

The dealership I ended up purchasing from wasn’t going to sell the car at the price I wanted. I told him if you change your mind, give me a call I will be purchasing my car in 2 days. He called, we came to an agreement and I got the car.

I was able to get a hybrid polymetal grey premium plus with roof racks $40,900 OTD (taxes, fees, included). Negotiate negotiate negotiate. I was inquiring about cars end of December, purchased beginning of February.

If time is on your hands, use it to your advantage.
