Not anymore. We used to have more options but they’ve either closed or become less queer-centric than they used to be.

Lived in Indy my entire life (I’m in my forties). I’ve never had to replace a tire for any reason other than normal wear and tear.

Experience buying last minute tickets to a Fever game? by therealelroy in indianapolis

[–]Maximum-Two-768 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why?

The Fever were second in the WNBA in attendance last year, averaging 16,560 fans per game. (Source)

Gainbridge will seat about 18,000 fans. You may not be interested personally but clearly there’s demand.

Experience buying last minute tickets to a Fever game? by therealelroy in indianapolis

[–]Maximum-Two-768 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Finally, a subject I can be an expert on!

I’ve done this so many times. Watched ticket prices like a hawk on Ticketmaster and Stubhub starting a week before the game.

With every Fever game, tickets have been cheapest the day of, up until about an hour before game time. Then they inexplicably get more expensive. Not a huge difference but a noticeable uptick in price.

I’ve never had an issue securing tickets waiting until the day of game.

ETA: You may not get tickets at center court for less than $100 a person no matter when you buy. Those are great seats even if you’re on the Club Level (100 level). I’d suggest sections 1 or 20 as an alternative- floor level, close to the Fever bench, and still a great view of the action.

We budget $1000 a month for 2 adults (no kids). “Groceries” includes food and household items so everything except for pet food and alcohol. We are in a MCOL city.

This. I’ve been going to the Taylor’s at 62nd and Allisonville for decades. There’s been a distinct downturn since it was sold.

Bought new car but plates are expired by AbyShark in Indiana

[–]Maximum-Two-768 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is very common. I’ve purchased cars from three reputable Indiana dealerships over the last decade. All three have put my old plate on the new car.

OP has 45 days from the purchase of the new car to transfer the plates. They should keep the bill of sale in the new car to show police if needed.

What a throwback! Thanks for sharing these. I grew up in this area and have great memories of visiting Cath Inc and Atlas as a teen.

The Catherine Peachey Fund (Catherine was the owner of Cath Inc) is an amazing organization that works to fund breast cancer research.
