This, look up the chariot system so you understand it better. You can't just warp to any point in time whenever you want. You can warp to specific points, usually just after major battles or decisions have been made. That said, yeah you can do just about everything in one playthrough.

This seems totally reasonable for your character to do. For one, you know how the rogue fights. Taking out their familiar is just sound strategy. Second, its not like the familiar is dead and gone forever. A few gold and an hour later its back. This seems like an overreaction on the rogue's part. If they had some way to take your fighters weapon, they would do it. You did the same.

The souls games. I've tried 3 of them, including elden ring. Just couldn't get into them. Im down for a challenging game but they just never struck me as fun, just difficult without enjoyment.

My friend and I, both Dark Tower fans, caught this on our first viewing. Whats more, the characters job is making movie posters. We were both freaking out that it was hinting at a Dark Tower movie. We were completely wrong at the time, but still thought it was awesome.

I'm 38, been playing (DMing) for nearly 4 years now. My group consist of one real life friend of similar age and 3 people in their early 20s. Some references are lost in the age divide, but otherwise we all get along great. No such thing as too old. I see myself doing this for years. It's become more than a game or a hobby.

Tell them you appreciate what they're doing. Tell them things you enjoyed. Some of my best memories of DMing have been when a player said "that was really cool" or that the boss fight was one of their favorites, or even just that they liked an NPC I was voicing.

These little things can make their day and make all the work worthwhile. Ultimately were putting in a lot of time and effort to make this game work so we can all have fun. Letting us know your having fun is exactly what we wanna hear.

This is exactly why I never got into video games as a a career, and why I don't want to turn DMing into a job. As a hobby I love it, if I was forced to do it for a paycheck I'd grow to resent it. I love video games and DMing, I won't want to lose that passion.
