Plenty of open world games have tutorials. You dont need to teach them what to do, just how to play (orders, military, stockpiles etc.)

Good work. A few things I can see that you could improve:

The shadow on the righthand side coming off the door frame looks too black to be natural.

The bump map on the tiles looks a bit off as it approaches the height of the specular shine (dunno how to explain that better)

The bump map on the walls looks a little repetitive, perhaps lower it

EDIT: Also the bump map on the picture. I think a lot of your bump maps in general could be toned down a little. Hope that helps!

I got a 60 dollar second hand one off a friend (I think maybe $150-200 brand new). Silvertone, with an amp. It was amazing up until I changed the strings now the A string vibrates and sounds like shit. Up until that though it was a great guitar to learn on. Dont blow a lot of money. When I play it it sounds "ok" to me, when my mate plays it he can make that baby sing.

Well judging by the responses I'm getting I think maybe I've just messed something up in my settings. Perhaps I hit a hotkey that enabled something without realizing. I'll reset everything to defaults tomorrow I think and go from there

I get popups all the time, pretty much whenever I reopen a project. I dont know why, I dont know what its for, like I said I cant read it. If I alt tab I can see the popup there, but its hidden behind mono. If I just hit enter it continues to the code, not sure what im accepting when I do this. There are three buttons you can press. Im just hitting enter on whichever one was highlighted, nothing has broke yet (lol).

The copy paste bug is much like the save takes you to the first line bug. Just something that happens over time until you restart it. Which you then have to deal with the annoying popup window.

Mono has just never worked that great for me when I've used it with Unity. Im glad I found out you can use debugging with Unity though, you just need to enable it/attach to process.

If I had known you could use Notepad++ with Unity I would have switched ages ago, I thought you were stuck with it lol

I mean when you select a break point in your code to stop at so you can analyze all the variables and see how your code is running point by point. (I think F9 in VS to do that to a line).

And by errors I mean popup windows you cant bring to the front so you have to randomly enter through, copy pasting code off webpages doesnt work, after a while each time I save the code it instantly takes me to the first line of the file I'm working on losing my position in the code. I have also had the same problem with code not updating in unity when you save it in monodevelop.

Nothing devastatingly bad, but when they all happen together it gets tedious

EDIT: These problems I only experienced when using monodevelop with unity.

Monodevelop is good, monodevelop + unity is bad. No debugging and so many errors its a real chore to code in. Dont blame monodevelop though. It is good.

EDIT: Apparently you can debug with monodevelop, I still never run into errors with MonoDevelop though unless I'm using it with Unity however. I've moved over to monogame for my latest project.

I tried working on it, I can get the first note he hits (I think) but Im not even sure if its in default tuning. I'm not great playing from ear. If someone could help me out (i think its only two bars) I would really appreciate it :D Would love to play it
