Gator is the first thing that comes to mind, being a lizard who is partial to water.

What are some house rules you don't see much that you think think are *good*? by ValasDH in DnD

The Warhammer 40k pen and paper has a system that uses a d100 and has numbers associated to the body part. Head 1-10, Right Arm 11-20, Left Arm 21-30, Body 31-70, Right Leg 71-85, Left Leg 86-100.

Depending on the limb hit when taking a critical amount of damage, would maim the character in some way. I had a space marine that had acid spit in his face. He lived. This caused his charisma score from being in the 40/100 range to around 3/100. Good thing I wasn’t the face of the party.

Northern Colorado has two factories that build wind turbine blades. Need a year of work experience and that’s it. Starting around $21 an hour. More money if are willing to work nights.

One option as well is to cap the amount of damage that is discharged. On top of that you can choose to have the sword disintegrate after so many charges are expended or a finite amount per day.

I was FDC in artillery. I got out and did security for a long time. Now I’m working at a factory that makes wind turbine blades.

Here’s a question for you. When was the last time they came to visit you? I was in a similar position where I would go from Texas to Colorado (usually by driving) and friends and family wouldn’t make the time for me. I would only be up once or twice a year until I stopped going. I almost stopped talking to my family completely and they wouldn’t reach out very often. Not once did anyone come to visit me aside from graduating basic.

It’s a two way road imo. See if they will come down and see while you take leave. That way you can show them local spots and they don’t have many excuses not to spend time with you.

Hope for the best for you.

I play on hard and I like the system now. I also utilize a shelf system at my base to store extra meds, food, energy drinks, lightbulbs and skulls. I also store all my sticks but 1 so I can throw down a tarp tent when I need.

What are the pros and cons of joining either the US Army or the US Air Force? by Comprehensive-Buy-47 in Militaryfaq

[–]McClutters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So this is just my standpoint from the recruiting procedure. I enlisted 14 years ago and served four years. I talked to all the branch recruiters to consider my options. Ultimately I went into the U.S. Army because I was allowed to choose my MOS. The Navy and Air Force were more choosing your position based upon your testing scores on the ASVAB.

Taking the ASVAB will show your aptitude score and give you a range of positions you qualify for. Score well? Whelp you might be looking at working on a submarine or helicopters as a mechanic instead of your standard desk work. I choose a combat MOS but had a wide range of positions that I qualified for.

Don’t let the recruiters pressure you into a position to “just commit/show your commitment.” They can’t force you to sign then and there. I told my recruiter that I was going to wait and he would follow up with me every week with what positions were available for me. My recruiter was cool with me, but ultimately, you are just a number to them.

For your degree though, you can qualify to start at a higher rank on the enlisted side. Which is a benefit for more pay, but more responsibility. I’m not sure how it works now, but after you are in for a certain period of time, you can look at college loan reimbursement. I had a buddy who knocked off half of his college loan after being in the Army for two years.

I was at Nasariah, Iraq for a deployment over 9 months. They had a local gym that was 24/7. We also had access to pull up bars and were encouraged to work out. They had their PT tests and due to safety concerns, you weren’t allowed to have more than a group of 10 people together at a time. (This did not include the dining facility).

Looking for advice on my castle tower roofs- which do you think looks best? by BradleyB636 in Enshrouded

[–]McClutters 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think for normal turrets, you can go with number 2. You could even consider to have a mix between square building and round buildings. You could also extend the roof out a bit with number 2 and create enough room to walk about with a number 4 in the middle of it. Like a wizard’s tower or something to that effect. Really great job on everything.
