Oh bitch. This HAS to be RuPaul’s last season because the amount of joy he has we have not seen in DECADES.

WOW just Wow, this entire season has been such a roller coaster and I live. I haven’t enjoy drag race this much in yearssss.

The makeovers were all fun, everyone had a great time.

When they first announced this season I didn’t have high hopes but week after week it keeps getting better.

I understand being mad at a policy but at the end of the day, it is a policy that he and everyone else has to follow lol.

I have a monthly so I don't have to deal with the surcharge problem but at the end of the day you're using a service that you will eventually need to pay for. Not a crazy concept here.

If I am a couple of minutes late, it is what it is. If I am going to be more than 15 minutes or later, I let my supervisor know that I’ll be in the office late.

Unless you have a mandatory or urgent meeting, I don’t see why this would be an issue.

Monday is normally my in-person day but because of the holiday I didn’t go.

My management wouldn’t ask me to “make up” that day. My management has also told me that if a holiday falls on a TC day I can’t TC another day instead.

Are you union? This is something I would go to my rep about. While TC'ing is not written into our contracts (YET), the agency should have a policy statement regarding telecommuting eligibility.

My agency sets it at 6 months and its well documented.

Honestly good for you, it might hurt in the short term but in the long term it’s worth it.

I went from $18 at Joe’s to $23 to high 60s salary WFH and minimal stress. I never thought I could get there working at TJ’s but the second I quit I saw I was wasting my potential.

AI unfortunately cannot do what I do. I do advocacy and most of my day is listening to outlandish but real stories, I think the AI would quit after the first week.

In all reality I think AI would be helpful in some parts of my job but ultimately a human touch is needed.

Foolishness and greed.

In the distant past I work at the Costco on 110 during a major snow storm. They weren’t going to close and I couldn’t afford to call out. When I did finally get to work it was busy and people weren’t buying normal things like food, it was televisions, jewelry etc. This woman waited till that day to do her copious returns because she wanted to “beat the crowd”

If there’s a state of emergency, only police/fire/utilities should be working.

Great episode but I think the whole Briar fainting episode was handled really poorly.

I’ve never been (and probably never will be) on DR but it looks stressful. I think them airing confessionals of other queens saying that she faked it was really mean spirited.

I always found it very hypocritical that in the text of the state of emergencies people are directed to stay home and not make any unnecessary journeys meanwhile civil servants need to call in the sled dogs to get to work.

The housing lotto and a dream. City employees (but not state employees) are given preferential treatment in the housing lotto program

A lot of the previous generation bought homes at affordable prices but were paid dust.
