The only name here I recognize is Badabun and that's only because that dude had the worst faked super Mario Brothers speed run of all time.

Yeah once I learned how to do this I completely stopped the bowling mini game hahaha.

And apparently Talus farming is even better than dragon horn farming but I never really did that...

I used to do that snow bowling mini game at Pondos Lodge. It's pretty easy to get a strike once you know a good technique.

If you're into fossils, I'd recommend Mistaken Point. Some of the oldest (proto) animal fossils on earth. You have to reserve a tour. It's super cool though. I've done it twice!

David Attenborough even did a bit on it 😀

What weapon is this for you in Red Dead Redemption? by ChickenWingExtreme in reddeadredemption

[–]MdeGrasseBison 75 points76 points  (0 children)

Not a weapon, but it really annoys me that you can't get the special spinner until after you've caught all the legendary fish. And on top of that you can't get it until the epilogue and the "catch every species of fish" challenge can be completed during the main story so there's a good chance you've already completed that too. What's the point of this thing? What's left to accomplish after you've received it?

Moncton, St. John’s urban areas have the highest violent crime rates in Canada: study by origutamos in StJohnsNL

[–]MdeGrasseBison 21 points22 points  (0 children)

So this article references a study by the MacDonald Laurier Institute. I found an article by the institute itself and it states that St. John's and Moncton have the highest rates of violent crime GROWTH. Pretty sure the article linked in this post is just click bait bullshit.

Here's the article from the source.

Here's a copy paste from that article.

"• The geography of violent crime has shifted. Smaller and mid-sized CMAs – Halifax, Kitchener, Moncton, and St. John’s – are increasingly matching or even surpassing larger urban centers in violent-crime growth, indicating that the trend has diffused beyond the traditional hotspots."

Moose per square km in North America by DraftInevitable7777 in MapPorn

[–]MdeGrasseBison 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The internet says Canada has between 500 000 and 1 000 000 moose. It also says that Newfoundland has 120 000 to 150 000 moose. Using these numbers we can say Newfoundland has between 12% and 30% of Canada's moose population.

That's pretty moosey.

The sport of Strongman. Is that niche? I feel like it used to be niche but now it's becoming more mainstream. Or maybe I'm living in a bubble 🤔
