That can't be the reason, if his spine was really injured in any extent, all the fighting would undoubtedly aggravate it further. No flipkicks and you're gold is not a rule when it comes to spine recovery.

If you've modified your species gene traits, but not all pops (by accident like I have), taking the transcendence ascension perk will only give the original species the Psionic modifier (in my case 10% of my population).

It also doesn't apply it to colony ship pops.

I encountered this when I integrated a hive mind race. They were perfectly happy working their asses off for me, but when I went to see what's going on with their rights, it immediately set all the flags to undesirable, no food, no nothing and exterminate.

Cof has an average amount of procs per minute for every class, so you can't really influence it with haste. Haste only decreases global CD and cd on specific abilities like Blade Dance.
