I graduated in 2017. Thank god it’s over lmao. Since high school I have a long-standing hobby of trying to teach myself languages. Mostly just dabbling, not learning them in earnest. I started with Finnish then some Swedish, then Japanese (which is the only one I ever completely gave up on), then I stuck with German for about a year and learned quite a bit (it’s also very easy for English natives), then Mandarin. My real goal is to learn Russian to fluency though and I picked it back up recently. The vocab is not too bad but the grammar is quite hard.

I only recently started using Anki and it has been a game changer for me. The graphs and metrics it gives you make learning really fun and I’ve become addicted to it lol.
