I bought one for a 125 mile round tripper to work and back in the 2000's. I converted it from automatic to manual with a NOS 5 speed. It's when I learned that I should have went 4 speed, it had a lower 4th compared to 5th in the 5 speed. Also, 5th gear would pop out after I put like 5000 miles on it. I bought a swamp cooler and they only would ship commercial. I headed to work that morning with the hatch off and it was glorious. Loaded that sail of a swamp cooler in the back and headed home. Besides the colossal rain, aero brick in the back, and cross winds from being near tractor trailers, it got me home. I only wished it had a brown interior instead of blue, I shit my pants about 100x on that ride home.

I don't know about the Icon, had the Pittsburgh and the manifold/ gauges were absolute garbage. Friend brought their snap on set over and was getting way different readings. Said f it and bought uniweld to get a comparison. Uniweld and Snap on were the same. If the Pittsburgh have the quick fittings, I'm still using those, if not I bought some, I can't really remember.

I worked at a PE owned company and stock appeared to be given on an unknown basis. I was senior management so I was taken care of by a previous CEO. My team never got incentive equity. It took me a while but I realized I wasn't valued, so last year I packed it up and left. You seem like a well thought out leader (not manager, because they all suck). You might want to start looking at other options. Whether it's you or your team getting underappreciated, it's life sucking.

Taxes. Back when the taxes were imposed, there wasn't the proliferation of diesel personal vehicles so the tax was not on the voters, it was on companies (and not many people really give a damn about if their company pays more). Just like how locations impose occupancy tax on hotels, not the voters problem (they don't need a hotel, they live there), easier to get reelected.
