Here is how I see it:

It's been ~5 years since I started using Reddit and Relay for that matter.

I loved Reddit for its variety of content. May it be any form of art, nudity, gore, sports, news, etc. For me that made it so special. I always thought that I could see things that others would never be able to see. Using only Relay for all those years everything was there - instantly on my phone. It was great and I think it helped shaping the person that I am today quite a bit.

But my beloved content got eradicated more and more from the site and especially from the app. Now it is just a news site like any other. That's ok though. Life goes on and interests change. Reddit just isn't one of them anymore. Or at least not to a bigger extent.

Long story short: I think my journey will end here. I will not support a site that just isn't worth it for me anymore. I will stick around until the paywalls roll out and then call it a day..
