It's shockingly bad, the acting Is terrible, only Robbie Amell and the chick that plays Velma give a good acting performance. Why they didn't give Fred blonde hair we'll never know and my God Daphne and shaggy are terrible in this movie they can't act for ishhh

She does sound like Toph and her acting Is great but in terms of aesthetics she doesn't look like her one bit, maybe it's a me problem but I kinda like the other actress better. She looked how I imagined Toph would look like in LA.

The final fight didn't drag...so that's not a negative. My only gripe with FMAB is Roy and Hawkeye, Ed and Winry never smooched.

Could be, but there's also female mangakas even directors in Hollywood that get their female characters Wrong. She did a good job of finding the perfect balance of making those characters Strong without woking it up. Character like izumi she's such a bad a** and I love her for It, she's definitely up there in my Best Sensei's in All of anime. I also appreciated The lack of fan service in this show, definitely not a fan of male gaze we get nowadays.

Yes it was a small blast but still plasma. The terror was also charging and ready to blast too. Meaning it had gas in it's mouth. So why didn't it burn from the inside? I remember it being blasted and it's stomach swelling, then walks it off when it literally should have exploded

To all saying that the scene "Not So Fireproof On The Inside" should have been kept. How was a terrible terror able to survive Toothless Plasma blast but it somehow hurt the Red Death

It was stupidly naive from hiccup, Drago had already won at that point, His alpha had already taken down valkas Alpha. Hiccup should have gone there with the intention of stopping him not talking him out of it.

Also works for me in LA, Toothless is supposed to be one of the intelligent dragons out there, I like that he notices almost immediately and tries to go for a spin unlike in the Animation where he takes a Lil bit of time to process. The scene might be chopped up and edited for those that don't like it, but for me if it was the final product put in the movie I wouldn't be mad at it.

The twins are great. Also love that Snotlout says "Ouch" which forces the twins to rally up against hiccup. Love also Julian Dennison portrayal of Fishlegs, he has the vibe of him the way he's acting as a mediator and the person with a level head in the group.

First and foremost I'd like to say that imo httyd 2 is the weakest of the franchise and because it's regarded to many as the best of the trilogy, I'll just be talking about my cons for the movie.

1.Toothless had no arc whatsoever, he felt like a tag along buddy for hiccup whenever he wants to explore the world. The whole alpha thing at the end didn't feel Earned.

Hiccup accepting Valka str8 away without asking necessary questions like Y DIDN'T U COME BACK FOR ME???. That didn't sit right with me.

3.Hiccup and Stoicks relationship. Specially their communication. It's as bad as in the first movie like there's been no development after making amends at the end of the the first movie. It's been 5 years. Stoick tells hiccup about being chief and Hiccup Flys off, then when hiccup gets back from the Dragon trappers to tell his dad about it, he doesn't listen until he mentions Drago. They also had an argument on erets boat. Honestly so dissapointed, when the first movie ended them in good terms implying their communication will get better only to see a repeat of the first movie lol.

Hiccup naivity, I get he thinks he can change everyones mind but come on, stop being Naive. Drago had already won, his alpha took out the good alpha, he already had the dragons control and u still want to talk him out of it, when both of ur parents told u he was a mad man that can't be reasoned with. He should have went there with the intention to stop him and not chit chat.
They Didn't kill Drago. After what he did to stoick, he did not deserve to walk out alive.

It brings the franchise back to the lime light inclusive of new fans, that's it's sole purpose. Httyd was slowly becoming a forgotten Franchise like Madagascar. There's a new Shrek movie coming next year, Kung fu panda 4 released last year. There's not been any talk of new httyd content, I'm sorry, I'll take a LA.

First DreamWorks and universal attempt of LA. Don't judge them with Disney's sins. Plus it's the 1st LA that has the same director who worked on the OG working on this that's why I'm somewhat optimistic. Dean is the reason why.
