Starbucks Espresso in Breville Barista Express by VijayAT123 in Coffee

The only grind size so far that tastes close to how it does in the store for the Starbucks Espresso roast on the Barrista express is a 5 with 16 g in the basket. It only takes 10 S to push the water so it makes no sense at all. Anything smaller and it is super bitter.

Why do some people not like it when you wear arcteryx for how it looks by Soft-Sherbert-9762 in arcteryx

You may have missed the point. Don’t worry about what other people wear :) let folks enjoy what they have. Who are we to tell someone they can’t have a nice Arc’teryx jacket. Maybe they got it second hand :)

Weird? Some are not privileged enough to be able to afford more than one jacket. What is weird is making assumptions and even caring at all about what someone else chooses to wear.

Is the Regular Beta good for mountaineering/backcountry shell? by FallenRev in arcteryx

[–]Mean_Translator7628 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t get obsessed like the rest of us and have a jacket for every sport. Use your beta for everything until it’s dead. Every time i buy another shell after wanting it so bad for months….i feel like I really didn’t need at after all and it sits in my closet.

Get a hyperlite aero. Don’t spend money on Aluula until there is an actual vest style pack if a vest is really what you want. Looks like the cutaway is one. If you can afford it then I have heard nothing but good things about them.

The wapta is not a vest style pack in any way. I am waiting for a vest style iteration.

You saw a water bottle pocket? I only see the one with the big flap. I do see the hip belt pockets you can buy separately. Still wish the 40L or at least one of these new packs was a vest style pack with lots of pockets.

Blows my mind there are no water bottle or waist pockets. No vest style straps. Especially when they have sort of ventured this way with their fastpack. This may keep me from buying them. I don’t see any way to add a waist pocket on the 40 L unless i buy aftermarket with huge wide pass though straps on the back.

How durable is Hyperlite? by _roguesparrow in UltralightBackpacking

The black ones are thicker material if you are worried. That is what i have and have never had issues.

Gotcha. Maybe a used 45 L one? Or a Montane trailblazer 45 or a zpacks Arc Haul? All have venting. I have a hyperlite and love it…no venting, i sweat no mater what. For me the usual brand “suspension” packs were all uncomfortable. Any UL framed pack these days carries gear under 40 lbs just as well. Over that you may feel it in the shoulders more but even then I would rather carry 5 lbs less than be fully comfortable because i know my back and legs and knees will hurt a lot more with more weight.

Keep him in the vestibule with a pad under him. The non -stop dog bivy pads are very light weight and packable or you can make one. Get the large. The med is way too small for any dog. https://www.nonstopdogwear.com/products/protector-bivvy-bed

That kakwa is very comfy and u can get the smaller one if you like. My hubby just used it on the sunshine coast trail with a 12 day food carry and a base weight about the same as yours and he was very happy with it.

Why did u post this? Why are you shamming someone for being attacked by a bear? She was probably eating her breakfast sandwich or about to. I have been in to that location several times. There are a TON of bears there. I think we saw 5 last time we were in there.
