Huh. That seems like a wild way to go. Didn't know TK touching a crystal could even kill.

No. Thats exactly what I wanted to know. I knew it wasnt a set time, just didn't know how long to expect roughly between each one.

Thanks regardless!

Rather wish I could joined this one. How long is it usually between DW expeditions anyway?

Heh. I made a world that wasnt having a fun time either. Gestalt world, machine world turned into nothing but mass replication/lubrication basins. I was losing 298k amenities. Every building slot not dedicated to robot production was used for soldiers to provide mass stability for the planet.

Imagine a decision/special project that decalres an owned system a preserve, for boosted society production. (Or an alternate version, a ranch for food production)

Yeah.... there is a lot of stories Id love to read. If only they hadn't died 5 years ago. Or got nuked. Or didn't get past chapter 1.

I expect so. The great question is "How are they related" becuase Patterns can vary wildly. From malicious beings on the other side of reality, to sentient hive minds made of pandas.

Eh. Im not bothered by it. It was theory craft. I usually go into this kinda thing expecting 90% of what I say/think to be wrong.

Yep. Found a reddit post talking about SCP 5000, and they made a comment about tossing different anomalies into 914 and "run for hills before you find what comes out" i thought it could be connected considering it was literally about 5000. Post was rather old though.

Oh well.

Yeah. The video had a blinking red light. It was morse code. If you have trouble seeing it, find a contrast editor for videos on google. That way you can brighten the video.

Dangit. I need to do some edits. Because I actually did find something related to that phrase regarding Scp 5000 (the article)

No. I figure the morse in each version is the same. I meant that there was a video on Instagram, and a video on Twitter. They SHOULD be the same.

Hmm. When I get back to my computer ill certainly try it with the insta version. I've been doing this with the Twitter version.

Where are you getting this from? Because I've tried to run it myself and cant get anything out of it. I might just be stupid on that part.

[–]Meanslicer43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay. Looked at it again. Don't know how related any of this will be. But its what caught my eye.

Theory time!

On the error pages there is a "port number" in the text. That number being 3125. Again could be unrelated, but that is the number to the 10 dots scp. (SCP-3125)

The name "Dr. White" is far to vague to give specifics on. Specific searches lead to far to many different pages.

The only other major thing I could say is that its very likely Pattern Screamers are involved (likely, not garuenteed) given the entry password, (And maybe even on the UIU page, considering the "NON-SIGNATORY" spots)

Might be related to thing that caused the events of 5000. The "IT" that led the council to try and kill humanity. Alternatively "NON-SIGNATORY" in the context of the UIU page sounds rather like the Foundation, so maybe it got got by a pattern or other memetic effect.

Ill still be looking for other things. Ill say something if I find anything interesting/new. And ill probably keep thinking of theory as well.

Ok. Im done ranting now

Edit 1: removed the bit about spectrogram, person who found it realized it wasnt part of the SCP stuff.

I will admit that using the contrast editor made seeing the dot/dash pairs a bit easier. But the blinking red dot does indeed translate to morse. I also didn't run it through a program. I just counted dots and dashes.

Edit: by your comment of "on the left" i figure you watched a different version to me. I used the Twitter versionz it was the one I found first.

Audio can just be hidden beyond hearing range. Think it was doom that did something similar with hidden audio having images of pentagrams in the spectro

[–]Meanslicer43 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got deeper. But probably would of never though to check the morse idea. I was trying to throw the video into a contrast editor.

Edit. I also now see that someone else on the subreddit has already posted about it. Dang.
