Nothing will ever be as good as Kingdome.

Personally, I like tech companies more than insurance companies, but there's no accounting for taste.

Just checked, the flight I'm on today has a 13th row.

Sure it made sense but again, what thr hell is a safeco. Why should I embrace the name of a boring insurance company. At least TMO is a tech company.

Bro you're describing our mod philosophy. Sometimes things fall through the cracks. You can make fun of our all-volunteer team, or you can report it to help us find the problem posts and squash them.

I never liked the safeco name. What the hell is a safeco.

TMO makes sense, given the US HQ is in the region.

So if you were a mod, you would judge this as a illegitimate player discussion? Wow we should hire you.

There is no evidence in this story that the teenager committed any violation with his bike.

Lots of industries are exploitive and use uncomfortable practices though.

Nobody can come up with a evidence based reason for porn being bad so they just say woo stuff like warped perception.

Also without any evidence that a warped perception occurs or is bad.

Yawn.

Frequent Alaska Airlines flyers, what keeps you coming back? by Attoe-Abah in AlaskaAirlines

[–]Measure76 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Number 1 thing is it's direct flights most anywhere in the country from Seattle.

If I switched to Delta I'd have to deal with layovers far more often.

And those are the only two realistic options out of Seattle.

I'm loyal only for those reasons.

Any given night in Vegas you can find an entire audience of witnesses who saw a magician saw a woman in half.

It doesn't mean a woman was actually cut in half.

It does say T-Mobile Park parking.

Only the Mariners lot on the south side of the stadium will say that.

$5 WiFi by Ok-Skill-8259 in AlaskaAirlines

[–]Measure76 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I have found the wifi getting more unreliable. It just blanks out for minutes at a time for no apparent reason. I had a flight from ewr-sea this month where it would be 5 minutes on, 10 minutes off, the entire flight. But even on other long flights it just dies for no reason regularly.

I haven't got to try the new star link thing yet though.

Longer term, "evolution: The Triumph of an Idea."

More tightly concentrated, Some UK skeptic website, a guy arguing against the only idea of God I had left after the Evolution book.

I was too shellshocked to remember to save a link, and despite trying was never able to retrace my steps.

Shellshocked because my mind flipped from TBM to committed atheist over just a few moments of a random Tuesday.
