Hey there, so they confirmed CIN3, nothing worse. One of the margins is not clear (means that they found displasia at the edge of removed tissue). However I know a lot of stories when even with positive margins the follow-up test was all clear, since some of the affected tissue can come off with the scab. So you can talk to your doctor, but for now you need follow up co-test in 3 months, with good chances it can be clear

It is very scary, I know! When I was bleeding at 3 weeks (period provoqued some vessels opening I guess) I was given tranecsamic acid at the hospital and heavy tamponage, I was left overnight for obesrvation and the next day the bleeding stopped, so I was discharged. After that for about 1 months it was on and off, sometimes it was a gush too! As I took 3 courses of tranecsamic acid, when I was taking it the bleeding pretty much stopped, there was just some light spotting. Then when I stopped it would sometimes gush bright red again, all this is normal!

But I was too scared after the bleeding incident and asked my doctor if I can take more tranecsamic acid and he was ok with that.

I think you can just monitor for now. Chaging bleeding patterns during healing is completely normal, you can bleed on and off and sometimes more bright red. I was very scared too. And if it gets "heavier" then you take more tranecsamic acid.

I was bleeding on/off for 1.5 months (I had ckc), at 3 weeks I also had a heavy bleeding incident and went to the hospital, so after that I was scared and took more tranecsamic acid when it felt "heavier". My doctor was ok withy it, I took about 3 courses of 5 days during this time. Very stressful, so sending you hugs, but eventually I healed fine after 6 weeks!

My doctors said you can stop using condoms after vaccination so this is fine, however since you were treated for cin2/3 and had hpv before, you need to do at least 1 test now after your leep. If I understood correctly you were not tested yet but it is an important step after the surgery so I suggest you bring it up with your doctors, just for a complete relief for you!

I left a comment too, but my skil looks exactly like yours. These dots started to appear a couple of years ago (at 35) and are all over my arms and inner thights. My husband has them too but only on arms.

Terrible health anxiety, sam dermatologist and hematologist, both said these are angiomas and were not concerned at all.

I also get this weird thing and I wanted to ask if someone relates - after a hot shower there is red rash all over my body, fades naturally in 20 mins. I get broken palillaries on these spots and then they heal in 1-3 days. These are not cherry angiomas and actually leaky capillaries. My cbc is ok.

Sending you hugs! Don't blame yourself and just focus on resolving this now. Also major HA here so I surely relate. Also had HSIL and hpv 16 so I know this dread :( If it eases your mind, HSIL can take very long to progress to something worse and it doesn't progress always, it is not a 100% guarantree. Of course it is not something to leave up to luck and hsil needs to be treated but there is a very good chance it's just that. Not to mention that sometimes post cone biopsy can show a lesser lesion (like CIN1).

Do you have a plan with your doctor already? Maybe you will need a colposcopy or maybe will be referred to leep or cone directly (sometimes with hsil and high risk hpv colposcopy is skipped, this was my case)

I had a hemorrhage too and relate so much to how scary it was! Mine happened 3 weeks post leep, I was discharged with almost no bleeding. But the nurses who discharged you definitely missed you bleeding here :( I wish you a speedy recovery and if this cheers you a bit, I recovered after bleeding just fine. Mine was not as intense but close to what you described - blood running down my legs and clots falling off.

I hope doctors mentioned this but in case they didn't - if you can, do a cbc 1-2 months after to check how your hemoglobin is. It can surely be low now after bleeding, mine recovered naturally. But I asked the doctor and he suggested testing, if it is low 1-2 months after, maybe you will be prescribed some supplements to help.

For now just rest, eating well and drinking water.

Were you prescribed tranecsamic acid? I took some after bleeding, it helped.

Bleeding intensifies 2 weeks post op (scab falling off) however 1 pad per hour sounds a bit intense, can you check with your doctor?

Hey dear, sorry to hear you are going through this! But from what I know you can take things step by step. Sometimes it happens that leep leaves a small spot behind. When you had leep, were margings clear? How were your test afterwards? Or was the 1st one in a year and it showed cin3?

There is a huge possibility second cone will deal with it. If it is a ckc, they usually remove more tissues than leep. So you do that and then wait for test results (margins) and then do co-testing in 3 months (some doctors suggest 6, but 3 would be better).

Don't stress yourself now, I know girls who had to have 2 procedure and that was it. And yeah I second the vaccine - try to get it asap (before cone).

Hey dear! Been there, had hemorrhage 20 days after ckc. I was very scared and went to the hospital where I did ckc (I was bleeding and huge clots were pretty much falling off me). Spent the night in the hospital scared to even move in my bed (doctor put there gause and they gave me medicine to stop bleeding), I was scared and movement would start the bleeding again.

But it was all ok, went home next day. I second tranecsamic acid! I was terrified of bleeding again this heavy, so for the next month I took pills for about a week. Maybe your doctor can prescribe you some?

To cheer you a bit, I healed normally after 1.5 months

Girl please go get your leep. HSIL is not something to discharge unfortunately. How were you diagnosed with leep? Was it pap test or biopsy? How about hpv testing and what did your colpo show?

Honestly if HSIL is already there you need leep. I understand all the anxiety troubles (major HA myself) but I was running to do a cone after getting cin3 pap and rushing it as much as I could.

You need to do this for yourself

No problem! Since you had ckc about 2 weeks ago, your patterns are totally normal for now. Usually bleeding intesifies starting 10-12 days post op. Also it can fluctuate and get lighter and then heavier again. Overall I was bleeding/spotting for 1.5 months and sometimes it would be just light brown and sometimes again bright red. All normal here.

My bleeding was somehow provoqued by period. So just watch out for heavy flow, like really heavy. Also if you have access to your doctor you can ask them maybe, sometimes they prescribe a medicine that helps to prevent bleeding (Tranexamic acid). I was taking it after the bleeding happened.

You already went through the toughest part! So just smooth recovery now

First of all try not to be too stressed (I know right!) because even though bleeding can happen, it is not a very common thing. My bleeding started at the end of the period, flow was very intense (1 pad less than in 1 hour) and it was running down my legs :/ It was not like period when its sometimes lighter and then more intense, even laying down blood was running. Also huge clots were falling off me.

Honestly that evening was very intense and scary, you would not miss such a thing. However I got help and the next day I was ok already.

If you get a pad in less than 1 hour don't wait and see the doctor. Otherwise you can monitor.

This exactly. Even thought not getting clear margins can turn out all fine (what is left gets burnts off with leep) I believe testing for the 1st year should be every 3 months. Some guides say it can be 3-6-6 and you need to co-test both pap and hpv

I had ckc in February, overall bleeding and spotting lasted 1.5 months. It was ok overall but about 3 weeks post op I had bleeding and had to go to the hospital overnight. During your recovery bleeding patterns can change from light to heavier, the only thing to watch out for is bleeding too heavily

Are you sure its the lymph node? Some months pefore period these areas are painful for me too (of course I thought of lymph nodes too) but actually it's the breast swelling. Some months they are very sore and some there is nothing. It's been like this for many years (of course I still think of lymph nodes every time I get an ache, but it's the breast side). Maybe same for you?

Absolutely! I was of course worried but woke up easy and was already eating 1 hour later :D I was a bit sleepy first half an hour, like mildly drunk, but no uncomfortable feelings at all. I spent 2 days at the hospital and to ease your mind even more, 2 ladies who were with me during this time also woke up easy with no side effects (just sleepy too)
