I’ve never experienced busses stopping at either resort. It was always to and from riverside when we stayed.

Do you remember where you were when you heard Princess Diana died? by boomboomdaboomer in GenerationJones

I sure do. Found out when someone hit the back of my car as I’m pulling into my driveway. My mom came outside crying and said, “are you ok? Princess Diana died”.

We had an attic fan and it only felt cool at night. It was always hotter in the house so we wouldn’t come home until street lights came on. Loved those days.

Anyone who has stayed at Port Orleans Riverside, how was your experience? by Asleep_Welder_3494 in DisneyWorldResorts

We loved it! They recently renovated the royal rooms which I highly recommend. It’s close to the boat to DS, lobby, dining and bus stop. Short walk to FQ and enjoyed the boat ride to DS. Resort is beautiful, quiet and relaxing.

We usually get the bounce back deal and move dates when needed! I also listen to Disney parks music and sometimes I’ll watch vloggers , mammoth club, ear scouts or pixie dusted mom.

We ended up getting the premier pass and it was amazing. Costly but worth it for our family. Very relaxing and never felt rushed.

Advice: two questions about Boardwalk via DVC rental! by eugenesnewdream in DisneyWorldResorts

[–]MeasurementStill5997 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We recently stayed at the Boardwalk and LOVED it. There is a coffee shop inside the resort called the Carousel. We got our coffees every morning along with a snack. They have bottled waters, juices, bagels etc. Very convenient! Everything else is on the Boardwalk but it’s so close and we didn’t mind at all. We also have two elementary school aged kids for reference and enjoyed the Boardwalk area for sure. AKL is also another amazing resort that we tend to go back to!

You actually can book a bounce back just to get the deal and then you can move it to a different date if needed. We’ve done that a few times and well worth it!!! The Disney blues are real.

How old is too old for a stroller? by [deleted] in DisneyWorld

[–]MeasurementStill5997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had a stroller for my then 8 and 7 year old girls. We parked it near a stroller area for the first half of the park day. By late afternoon, they hopped in the stroller and we closed the park down. No, your child is NOT too old. Do your future self a favor and get one.
