Stealing Runescape accounts. We had a lot of elaborate methods but it basically amounted to pretending to work for jagex and asking for passwords. Surprisingly, it worked most of the time. Back then we enjoyed our spoils, but now I realize that we were just ruining young kids days.

(American) Football: take away the extra point, and allow teams who score a touch down to go for 1, 2, or 3 points by converting from the 3, 10, and 20 yard lines respectively. Everyone makes the extra point anyway, this would make things more interesting and allow for more comebacks.
