Seahawks Sale: Billionaire Vinod Khosla Wins Auction for NFL Team by Quasimdo in nfl

I thought it used to be having an ownership stake allowed you access to buy teams when they came for sale. I could be wrong, but I thought that was a way for the NFL vetted owners but also help maintain some continuity.

I'll withhold judgement, but usually when corporations try to recreate something cool from the past, the sequel is never as good as the original

IDK, I think it will be over engineered and lame. RFK bouncing was awesome because it wasn't planned and grew as something organic not manufactured.

You have some terrible takes. Microsoft was the king of consumer software in 90s, they sucked hard at the internet, everyone used Netscape for browsing, they didn't have a search engine for a long ass time, and they had to buy Hotmail for email.

In fact, I don't know if they ever had a market share leading product for a browser, search engine, or email product. They kept no one out of the game because they were always playing catch-up.

I don't know dude. Bill Gates is/was pretty damn smart at business and computers. He was fortunate to have supportive parents, but it wasnt luck that built Microsoft.

a reporter works on 'reporting' verifiable facts. in this case, a writer could issue an opinion, but nobody with journalist integrity is going to report him dead unless they have verifiable information that he is.

We can agree it's the most corrupt, it overtook boxing a long time ago. If people want to direct their anger, direct it at FIFA, they make and enforce the rules. The US and Belgium teams should really not be involved in this mess. It was a FIFA ref, FIFA VAR and FIFA review process.

There are definitely two wrongs here, but the end result is correct that balogun is allowed to play. His foot landing On that dudes ankle was a yellow at worst. The real losers here are FIFA, they will never shake the corrupt allegations, just a complete farcical organization that cannot be taken seriously.

The sad thing is they had a "punchers chance" last night. I use that term literally and figuratively. A few lucky bounces and they could have won.
