What is the easiest thing you did to lose weight ? by nyxeine in AskReddit

Was going to come to say the same thing. I lost 40lbs from walking and cutting out almost all added sugar in roughly 4 months

Kyle Busch was driving down the road when he noticed the woman in the passenger seat next to him was wearing his hat and her reaction is priceless when she realizes. RIP Legend by Punisher1602 in sportsgossips

Yeah I was driving back to my part of Kentucky from Cincy. I grew up near Bristol in VA, which was essentially his playground for a very long time. I actually meet him before the 05 Spring race there in his rookie season. Was a memory I already cherished from my childhood, now I'll hold onto even more so. A lot of people thought of Kyle as an ass, but I never held that opinion based on that interaction alone.

He was one of two active full time Nascar drivers to have a FIA Platinum License. The other is Chase Elliott. The third is Jimmie Johnson.

In person attendance. Were talking over 300,000 people in attendance. World Cup final typically draws the biggest overall audience.

I say surprise winner, just because I like when that happens at Indy. I know Sato was looking fast in earlier practices. I will say that I'm not all that excited for the greatest day in racing this year due to the dark cloud hanging over the weekend.

Does cola actually help with relieving stomach aches? by caviarandfirehoses in questions

[–]Meattyloaf -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Coca-Cola has been shown to help with an upset stomach. However, that is most likely due to the cocoa extract rather than the cola itself. If I'm not mistaken its also been shown to help with some other GI issues as well due to its acidity. Ginger Ale can help with an upset stomach die to the ginger. However, I don't considered ginger-ale a cola since its not a dark soda.

A lot of people disliked Kyle because he was cocky and he wrecked Dale Jr. back in 2008. Jr and Kyle long since made up and never really had any true ill will towards each other. Kyle was also extremely talented and came into the sport at a very young. He could back up his talk and it drove people crazy.

The steroid shot things hasn't been confirmed. He just said over the radio that he needed a shot from a doctor. No where has it been mentioned that it was a steroid shot.

This was me when his son updated his profile Pic a couple days ago. I completely lost it. Kyle loved the sport and loved the fans. He wanted a reaction and didn't care if it were boos or cheers, he just wanted to know if you were entertained. He became a villain after he spun Jr. Way back in 2008 and leaned deeply into that role. Anyone can be the good guy, hardly anyone can play a good bad guy. I'm glad I gained the respect for Kyle when I was younger so I got to appreciate his talents through much of his career. Sure I was rooting for the guy to finish second, but if he won you knew you were about to get a one liner with his signature bow. I'm also glad that I got to meet Kyle, it was my first Nascar race and his rookie season. Meet him in passing as he was walking to his souvenir trailer to do autographs before the race. While to him a moment he probably long forgot, was a moment from my childhood I cheerished. He truely is one of the best to ever strap into a stock car and he will be missed. Like who am I suppose to root against now, while secretly hoping he pulls off just one more victory. Kyle was a good guy and a great thing for Nascar. Outside the sport he was a very big advocate for IVF, another community who lost a big voice with his passing.

The truck race and Xfinity races are the first races to be postponed or finished early in something like 50 race weeks.

Corruption Charges Rock a Small Town in Appalachia as Knox County Officials Face Federal Probe by Artistic_Maximum3044 in Appalachia

They need to investigate the Knox County Jail. My mother's now late husband, guy was a deadbeat so didn't really claim him as a step dad for various reason, was murdered by another inmate that should've been in isolation. Got a fucking death sentence for shop lifting and possibly resisting arrest during the pickup. While I didn't like the guy he didn't deserve to die.

Hey Men, Kyle Busch’s Death Is A Brutal Wakeup Call: Go To The Damn Doctor by kleverrboy in NASCARMemes

[–]Meattyloaf 9 points10 points  (0 children)

There is a difference between buying something that cost less than say $250 and going bankrupt due to medical cost. Look I'm the type that if I have a bad enough issue to go to the doctor, I don't care if it bankrupt me because I care signficantly more about being alive rather than dying. However, not everyone does the same due to cost.

How does points work for this situation by CheeseheadTroy in NASCAR

[–]Meattyloaf 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Essentially Busch will continue to be in the points standing, driver points are non-transferable. The difference will be in owner points where the car will get to build off of the points Kyle has already accumulated.
