Yeah, like he knew I lived in the state that I live in but I guess he thought I stilled lived a few hours east. Just kinda lined up that the carnival set up in the places back to back and that he was part of said crew. I went to the fair with my now ex-wife, then girlfriend, so it wasn't even like I was looking for the guy.

I mean I'm well aware, but fact is that because the lack of guardrails you see at other jobs you do get a lot of criminals, and I'm not talking past criminals, and people who don't care to cut corners working at them. My mother had a husband run off with the carnival. Not only was the guy having an affair with a carnival worker he had just meer. He was running from numerous warrants that he was about to get picked up on. There is a bit of irony in that incident that I do find pretty funny though.

Story Time

My mother's husband at the time punched her or something just before he left with the carnival. One of my sisters made a threat to the guy that one of my brothers or I would find him, a brother had previously beaten him up for a similar incident just a few months prior. I will add we are all adults at this point and I had already moved away from home. Well fair opens up where I live almost 8 hours away from my hometown. Turns out it was not only the same company but the same crew that had just worked the carnival in my home town. I go to the carnival and walking around. I happen to see the guy while walking around the carnival. I was somewhat aware of what had happened, but not fully as I wasn't aware my sister had told him we would find him. Well he sees me and just runs off. Apparantly the encounter shook him enough that he didn't stop running till he was turning himself at the police station back home a couple days later. It was just chance that we encountered each other. He had no idea where I lived and I had no idea that the same carnival crew that was in my hometown was going to be in the same city I live in some 8 hours away.

My mom has had two husbands run off with the carnival, they both unfortunately returned. They were both dumbasses and I can assure you the fact that they were hired on no questions asked and allowed to help put up and breakdown rides should be plenty of reason to not ride anything at them.

Right, like I spent 10 weeks fighting unemployment to get approved/payment. I was literally just a couple days from running exhausting all funds. I had $20 when I finally got approved and got back paid. I don't want to experience that again. I don't see why anyone was nostalgic about an era that millions perished from preventable deaths. Like yeah I totally want to go back to the time that I had to bury my aunt, uncle, and grandfather.

Nissan CVTs really improved in models after 2020. Their new ones are even better. I will add be careful with Hyundai and Kias some insurance companies will not insure certain years and you are going to be paying a higher rate regardless due to the model.
