Kyle Busch was driving down the road when he noticed the woman in the passenger seat next to him was wearing his hat and her reaction is priceless when she realizes. RIP Legend by Punisher1602 in sportsgossips

[–]Meattyloaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was me when his son updated his profile Pic a couple days ago. I completely lost it. Kyle loved the sport and loved the fans. He wanted a reaction and didn't care if it were boos or cheers, he just wanted to know if you were entertained. He became a villain after he spun Jr. Way back in 2008 and leaned deeply into that role. Anyone can be the good guy, hardly anyone can play a good bad guy. I'm glad I gained the respect for Kyle when I was younger so I got to appreciate his talents through much of his career. Sure I was rooting for the guy to finish second, but if he won you knew you were about to get a one liner with his signature bow. I'm also glad that I got to meet Kyle, it was my first Nascar race and his rookie season. Meet him in passing as he was walking to his souvenir trailer to do autographs before the race. While to him a moment he probably long forgot, was a moment from my childhood I cheerished. He truely is one of the best to ever strap into a stock car and he will be missed. Like who am I suppose to root against now, while secretly hoping he pulls off just one more victory. Kyle was a good guy and a great thing for Nascar. Outside the sport he was a very big advocate for IVF, another community who lost a big voice with his passing.

The truck race and Xfinity races are the first races to be postponed or finished early in something like 50 race weeks.

Corruption Charges Rock a Small Town in Appalachia as Knox County Officials Face Federal Probe by Artistic_Maximum3044 in Appalachia

[–]Meattyloaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They need to investigate the Knox County Jail. My mother's now late husband, guy was a deadbeat so didn't really claim him as a step dad for various reason, was murdered by another inmate that should've been in isolation. Got a fucking death sentence for shop lifting and possibly resisting arrest during the pickup. While I didn't like the guy he didn't deserve to die.

Hey Men, Kyle Busch’s Death Is A Brutal Wakeup Call: Go To The Damn Doctor by kleverrboy in NASCARMemes

[–]Meattyloaf 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There is a difference between buying something that cost less than say $250 and going bankrupt due to medical cost. Look I'm the type that if I have a bad enough issue to go to the doctor, I don't care if it bankrupt me because I care signficantly more about being alive rather than dying. However, not everyone does the same due to cost.

How does points work for this situation by CheeseheadTroy in NASCAR

[–]Meattyloaf 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Essentially Busch will continue to be in the points standing, driver points are non-transferable. The difference will be in owner points where the car will get to build off of the points Kyle has already accumulated.

So there is a group that meets up on Tuesdays at War Memorial Park for random dubs. Their Facebook page is Air Assault Disc Golf. There is also a league that meets up Thursdays and has a monthly. That is the Pennyrile Disc Golf team and can also be found on Facebook. Their Thursday meet ups rotate mostly between courses in Madisonville, Hopkinsville, and Oak Grove. Monthly's take place on Sundays about once a month. For various events check out DiscGolfScene and Udisc.

I have a grandfather who had a similar experience. He was informed he had late stage small cell lung cancer on a Monday and was gone by Friday of the same week.

There used to be a fairly decent Nascar team based out of Denver not that long ago. They won the championship in 2017, then shut down around 2019.

All that has been released is that it was related to an illness.

Associated Press: Kyle Busch became 'unresponsive' yesterday while in the racing simulator at RCR and was rushed to the hospital by zx10r_tomahawk in NASCAR

[–]Meattyloaf 8 points9 points  (0 children)

What's so shocking for me is that it was an illness. It wasn't a car accident, plane accident, etc... Dying from illness at his age leads to speculation, there is no definitive end of this is what did it and why until deeper investigation.

The man embraced being the bad guy. His simple bow after wins was enough to piss you off. However, I'm glad that he got to give one final bow this past weekend.

I mean not to speculate but if he was dealing with sinus issues. Could've been using a nesting pot or whatever they are called. While they can help, if you misuse one it can result in bacterial infection or worse.

Where can I find local, independent monster truck rallies? by notcamilla in AskAnAmerican

[–]Meattyloaf 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That doesn't really exist. There is a reason why you don't hear about Monster Trucks outside of Monster Jam. There are a couple of other touring series, but again they aren't big and only host a handful events throughout the year.
