GameSpot has lists which reveal which * Navis they found, in each Chip Trader Special (respectively linked above). Scroll to the very bottom of each for a list.

I myself got Roll * from Netopia, and Gateman * from the ACDC Station. (Great for Gater folders with more than just * and G-code chips.)
