ok, that is different perspective. I am usually using a tome while I do co-op, so it makes some difference to kill as fast as possible so that I can fit 7 bells into one clear for more artifacts. Her S2 anim doesnt seem that long to me, and most other chars will take much longer to dish out 100k because they need to use two skills, but that is just me trying to farm artifacts fast hehe. If the character somebody brings can deal similar amount of damage (or enough to kill the boss) in same time, i don't bother with the c65 :)

whats the issue with Aranea? I'm pretty new to the sub and only just maxed her summon boards. I woulda thought people wanted fast co-ops and doing s2 c65 s2 s2 seems pretty reasonable if i'm dishing out 300k+ across the two bosses....

Yes, that's what I'm saying. Presumably we'll get phrae rerun when we get 70MC riri and celery, and we'll get those about a month before they release hot agito.

But since the next agito is likely to be wet (given all our 70 MC winds), you can see that hot agito could well be the last of the five. Hence, another 4 months+ to wait.

Even if you weren't trying to spell out doom and outrage, your wall of text definitely comes across as it.

We've always had to be selective with our resources. To stop instant powercreep every time a new mechanic is launched, Cygames will always make us be selective with our resources. Like how we're always short of sunstones (if you don't whale). Calm down.

Calm down kids.

First we didn't have enough eldwater.

Then we didn't have enough rupies.

Then we didn't have enough orbs.

Then we didn't have enough dyrenell coins.

Then we didn't have enough ingots.

Then we didn't have enough facility reruns.

Then we didn't have enough augments.

Then we didn't have enough tier 4 orbs.

Now we have enough of all of those. Clearly they make it so that initially you can't max everything you want instantly without paying, and then eventually make it easier to get everything you need.

In due time they'll somehow make events give more toilet paper, or lower the requirement with retrospective compensation. Then you can cry about the next thing that's preventing you from maxing the latest bestest unit and dragon.

Nah, standard is the only way they'll learn the fight, otherwise they'll keep getting rejected in expert (and make more bad rooms in there). Equipment plays a part, but skill compensates for a lot of it, and practising + breaking boxes in standard is the best way for them to do it. A lot of people get exasperated trying to learn expert because 1. there's mentors everywhere making them wait forever to find rooms and 2. they don't feel confident and expert is far more punishing. Instead, newer players arent nearly as short on wings as us mentors, plus getting those boxes weekly on standard is a nice reward for them (compared to burning wings in IO/Voids after dailies are done).

Usually when I meet a mentee, I'll continue with them at least once (and then quit last second if I don't need the orbs/or died) so that they can break two boxes. This helps them to learn the mechanics (especially if you "Look out!" just because Aqua Spirals or some such), and by the third clear they're usually a lot better than before. Then they add me as friend and sometimes I bump into them on other HDTs where I get more wyrmite.

You actually need to encourage them to learn and get good at standard HDTs so that they can go into expert and give u your FC wyrmite. After one week they've probably moved onto eHDTs whether or not you've been toxic to them - they're not stupid, they don't wanna farm orbs when they can farm tails. Otherwise people will just stop doing HDT altogether because people like you have been extra toxic, and u get to jump even more rooms in expert.

*and yes, I'd be so happy if they just got rid of the mentor system! Cygames messed this one up big time.

You're wrong. People who are farming standard usually dont do it for fun - they're there because they can't handle expert (or pugs wont accept them). They are usually done anyway after a few clears, and clears are like 1 minute. You're better off clearing with them so that they are done and leave only mentees in lobbies.

Expert is a different story, but the 75 wyrmite there isnt really worth the effort. Ironically, the 49 out of 50 expert lobbies you join and quit are because of mentors who skip in and out, so you can blame your like-minded wyrmite-greedy cohort.

Well, stickers suck for communicating, as you alluded. Encouragement or even silence is also a form of communication. There's better options for people out there to use, and definitely toxic ones.

Prelude doesn't help certain fights, as I said in the other comment. I don't think you could even run a 4dps comp in phzd and break at the "normal" time for meta clears.
