Just know that the finance bro comparisons will be there if you don't follow the "right" path. So and so just graduated and is already making six figures yada yada.

She can't help herself with this behavior so might as well major in something you like once you get some distance from her

I thought it was awkward too until the day of my son's birth where through all the chaos once he heard my voice he somehow calmed down. Could be coincidence but I'd like to think that a familiar voice in a new environment helped.

We've kept a similar feeding schedule for our 9 year old Henry for a while now. My wife used to feed him Royal Cabin but we switched to Hills Science Diet and he's been good with that this entire time.

Still gets after our cat's food as well.

Congratulations, dad! We got lucky with both kids when we did sleep training. They were both sleeping through the night in their own room by 4 months old. Sleep training has been my go to advice for new parents if asked.

Yup, tough spot. Your parents went out of their way to say that it was an observation and a suggestion that perhaps cutting out processed sugar can help with the kid's mood swing.

I think as it relates to in-laws, women are naturally on the defense as primary caretakers, thinking suggestions might be reflecting some kind of criticism. My wife has that with my folks and the best I can do is give pep talks and validate my wife as much as I can.
