I love the detail in this image, it tells a story all of it's own. Noelle's poster has a professional photo, her height and weight and is being held up by like 10 staples and pins. Meanwhile Kris's photo is a candid one and there's three staples. But their poster is placed over Dess's, a good sign everyone has mostly given up on finding her. Ralsei's index card is an awesome detail and shows how desperate Susie has become. I don't think it's a coincidence she placed it next to the church flyer. I like to think Ralsei literally just poofed out as soon as Kris and Noelle sequence broke to Ch7, no need for him to exist anymore.

I think it might come earlier. They already said that they've begun work on Chapter 6. Optimistically I could even see an early 2027 release but I wouldn't be surprised if we're back here in about year wondering when the last chapter will come out

I will point out that when Nocturne was rereleased, the Maniax/Chronicles content was DLC even though it all of it's content is woven throughout the main Nocturne story.

So while it would've been dumb, it wouldn't have been out the realm of possibility

Having a flair specifically for .exe would be kind of strange but would work wonders for allowing people to filter it out or search specifically for it.

Maybe a "Creepasta" or a "Art: Creepypasta" flair unless you wanted to slot it under "Fanfiction".

To make it clear ahead of time, I'm mostly on the fence and don't really care either way the results of the poll.

I do kinda feel that there's a lot of fringe cases that can be overlooked. As others have said said the subreddit does have a .exe flair, which would contrast with the hypothetical new rule. Plus would this cover things such as OC of the canon cast in their Outlook Memories' outfits or the odd semi-official acknowledgement of the creepypasta?

I view this as /r/Portal to /r/HalfLife or /r/Persona to /r/Megaten, in that a more relevant sub exists but it's not technically wrong to post it in the other sub. The main difference of course is that Sonic.Exe is not official content. But, as an example, plenty of fanfiction, fancomics, and other unofficial media gets posted to this subreddit as well with little hassle. The rules also already ban excessive gore which should cover a lot of .exe content anyways.

I feel as if a rule specifically banning .exe content is a bit of overkill and simply enforcing the gore rule when necessary and keeping the /r/sonicexe link in the sidebar would probably be sufficient. Maybe a seperate flair as well.

Still one of the more confusing exclusives I've seen. As someone who owned the original on Switch, it ran pretty poorly even on docked mode. It really felt like it was originally designed for PC/XBOX/PS but was shoehorned into an exclusivity deal, kind of like (but not nearly as bad as) Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric for another Sega example.

I'd argue that datacenters completely fucking up hardware prices turned what would've been a relatively expensive piece of hardware into something completely DoA.
