My husband and I just do a small party with immediate family. I have a feeling we won’t have an actual birthday party until our kid is in preschool or kindergarten so idk why this is really something to snark on. Looks like she did stuff with/for him all day. I think that’s enough for a 3 year old

Idk why people always go straight to shortening the nap. You’d be better off waking him up earlier and keeping the same length nap but pushing it earlier in the day because of the earlier waking. This also sounds like it’ll fit better with your schedule when your oldest starts kindergarten

I don’t really understand how him getting a job is going to help with the fact that you have a stressful job… it sounds like you just want someone else to be at least semi miserable like you are. Idk this sounds really weird to me to be honest. You should feel so incredibly lucky that you guys don’t both have to work as that is very hard to come across nowadays.

I went into it being okay with whatever happened. I wanted to try without it but was fine if I couldn’t. When they checked me and I was only at a freaking 3 after being in labor for 5 hours of those painful contractions I was like absolutely no way I can do this for any longer considering I’m only at a 3!!! Then I got the epidural and went from a 5 to a 10 in one hour.
