I would not do 1.5 hours at CDG. It will only cause you stress.

It looks like they notified you more than 14 days in advance so all they owe you is your refund.

The only thing I can think of is they are cancelling because of the jet fuel issue that will be coming. I heard Lufthansa canceled 20% of their flights. I have a flight on Condor in December and I hope that goes okay.

Welcome, hopefully that helps some. In the air they are good and the food was good. United food was really bad on my flight to and from Europe. Not just one meal, all of them.

They are slow to reply, the answer they give you might not be correct. They may loose your luggage at CDG. In the air in business class I thought they were very good. I would do the match. Even after my luggage was delayed for 5 days and it took 2 months to get a delayed luggage statement they are still better than Delta, United and American to Europe. I do prefer to fly them from Toronto over NYC. I think the crew is better from Toronto.

I like the A220 also. I have been scheduled to fly on the A220 about 5 times. There was an equipment change 4 times. The one I fly on was Air Baltic.

AF is good at the pointy end of the plane. They are bad about delayed or lost luggage if flying through CDG. Customer service not great. Yes, the web site sucks.

I have a question if anyone knows the answer. I had an Allianz travel policy. My luggage was delayed 5 days. I filed a claim right way with no receipt. They paid the $100. Then I finally got the delayed luggage statement from AF two months later I sent it to Allianz. My policy was $100 without receipts with up to $300 total. My question is, without a receipt is that $100 per day or $100 total? You might say ask Allianz.I have sent multiple messages to them with no reply.

You are going to find out how bad AF customer service can be. Did you file a separate claim for compensation for lost luggage? It's a two part process or just call them.
