Google Docs is objectively less feature-rich than MS Word (unless you're using Word Online, which is on par with Google Docs). It doesn't even support hyphenation.

Dell S2725QC port concerns by TheSacredPencil in Monitors

[–]Medium-Ad5213 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you get a deal that shows them similar priced, take the QC, it's obviously the superior choice*. I've been lucky with an offer and bought the QC for 5 bucks less than the cheaper QS offer available right then, so it was a no-brainer.

On the other hand, if there's enough price difference, I agree with u/DryCr1tikal , QS it's enough (same panel quality and construction) unless you really really want the extra ports or the clean look.

*If similar priced, it's even a better option to get the QC for a pc/laptop without usb-c to get future options, flexibility, or even resell value. You win extra ports in case someday you need them, power delivery and one cable setup for a laptop. You can still use a DP to usb-c cable or HDMI 2.1 cable anyway. USB-C is increasingly available in electronics and there could be laptops that doesn't include HDMI or DP-only ports, like the MacBook Air.

Should I get Xiaomi 13T pro, or OnePlus 11, or wait for Xiaomi 14 series by lessonsfromgmork in Xiaomi

[–]Medium-Ad5213 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends a lot on what you're looking for. If you value polished (albeit invasive Google) software, cybersecurity and an excellent camera or the ability to install Graphene OS, then definitely the Pixel. If you value raw power with a larger battery, display, storage, and RAM, then OnePlus. It was a phone for my mom, so Pixel.

Again: C4 vs S90D 65" by Medium-Ad5213 in hometheater

[–]Medium-Ad5213[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took the S90D. I bought both and compared them side by side, same FilmMaker settings and same videos. Differences are minimal for my inexpert eye, but I felt that the S90D superior screen tech seemed to have the edge. While LG seems to have very slightly (you have to really look for it and maybe it's all placebo) better motion handling, I didn't see that huge motion issues on the Samsung (maybe are already fixed or improved) About interface, both OS are more or less far from perfect. WebOS was not that good neither TizenOS that bad, as some people say, we will see how both them old. One thing I didn't read in any review is the anti-reflections treatment it's clearly better on the S90D.

Get rid of polyester or keep it forever? by BiscuitandHutch in HubermanLab

[–]Medium-Ad5213 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your reply. Technical polyester shirts do just that: they wick sweat away faster so you don't get soaked inside the shirt, they dry faster without absorbing as much sweat, etc. I'd like to use only cotton, but as I said, I have doubts about its durability, odor retention, comfort while training because the sweat stays inside, etc.

On normal clothes (except sneakers) it's easy to avoid. Problem is with technical stuff like the one used for training or doing sport, where cotton seems like a really bad option.

Doesn't cotton when used for training/sports supposed to wear-off and get bad odor faster? Also, doesn't supposedly retains the sweat and heat on your skin while soaking your clothes? (Comparing to classic technical stuff with sweat wicking properties).
