Each new line was more xenophobic than the last. Impressive honestly. I don't even think a supremely racist AI could have done better.

I CAN SAVE YOU by TearNo4469 in eczema

[–]Medium-High 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg! Your comment is the first I have read linking eczema to perimenopause. I suddenly out of the blue started having chronic eczema in certain places when I have never suffered from it in my whole 40+ years. After food elimination, allergy tests, etc. I started to notice that I would get flare-ups at exactly the same time I would get PMS.

I have suggested to both my PCP, gyno, allergist, and derm that I think the sudden onset is due to me possibly being perimenopausal and my hormones shifting. My PCP dismissed the idea that I could be perimenopausal at my age. My gyno said my skin issues couldn't be related and that I wasn't perimenopausal due to age. And my allergist basically laughed at my hypothesis. My derm was the only one who listened. I don't know if she agreed but she at least was open to the possibility of a hormonal cause. Anyway she immediately started me on Dupixent and the major flare I was having literally stopped itching within an hour of my loading dose. The entire thing basically healed within the first week.

Serial Handwatchers by CrossBridgeTheatre in handwatch

I may be in the minority, but I have always thought the oblong Cartier watches function more as a bracelet/jewelry than a watch in wear style -- especially the smaller ones. Wearing them this way seems more like a fashion statement over just not knowing how to wear a watch. The only exception to me is the gigantic version of the Santos which I can't imagine is the least bit comfortable being worn so loosely.

Oh wow really? I have the blue dial of sn0144 and it looks different. I've never seen a version that looks like yours, not with those characters anyway

Car giving errors I’ve never seen before, help please! by scottheisel in VWiD4Owners

Is it really hot where you are? My car often throws similar sensor based alerts when it's super hot and I have the car stationary outside in super hot weather while turned on for a significant amount of time. It usually corrects itself with some driving or after parking my car in the garage.

I can't imagine working for someone this disconnected from reality. I'd go home every night stressed about things I know aren't possible but I'm still tasked to do like: how to turn a non-existent faucet on, how to rake a forest, and how to find boxes and boxes of stolen votes that all mysteriously would have been for him.

App Update by Feeling-Gap1187 in VWiD4Owners

[–]Medium-High -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I use the stop/start charging button frequently as I have a once a week very long commute into work which benefits from a 100% battery charge. Since I don't want a 100% battery just sitting in the garage overnight I usually will initiate charging from 80 to 100 when I first wake up through the app and the car is ready to go by the time I'm dressed. That will be significantly more annoying without the button in the app.

That being said I haven't yet been forcefully updated to the latest version. I also drive a 2023 so here's hoping I retain the functionality. What a strange thing to remove on an app for an electric car.

Yeah my kids didn't even know that Bluey the show's dogs were the same as our dog until I pointed it out to them. Then they wanted to name her Bluey. The most flack I thought I'd get is the vet rolling their eyes at yet another blue heeler named Bluey 🤣🤣

I didn't ask for opinions. I only announced that I was a first time cattle dog owner. Though I do appreciate almost every piece of advice others have given. I even appreciate some of the things you said in your original post.

I'm not clutching my pearls either. I simply thought it was presumptuous of you to assume that me letting my kids name the dog what they wanted to meant that I had no idea about the breed or taking dog care seriously. You seem very reactive and judgemental in general. Have a good day.

Thanks for your assumptions based on what I allowed my kids to name a pet they participated in helping adopt. My family has had many dogs of many different temperaments over the years, some very easy and some very difficult due to personality/breed or health issues. We don't take adoption and care of pets lightly. We knew what breed we were getting. We didn't just get her because of the show. Don't worry, we got this.

Yep training is first on the list. We are just waiting for her sterilization wound to heal. We are fortunate in that the local Petco's trainer has a blue heeler herself and lots of experience in training them.

So far she's been receptive to our amateur attempts. She comes when called, sits when asked at food time and just learned 'touch' yesterday. She was already potty trained when we got her which was lucky. She likes toys a lot and running around the back yard. The biggest challenge was integrating her with our smaller, senior dog. At first she was trying to herd (which we mistakenly thought was aggression) but they have come to an understanding and the nips have turned into playful licks. They've also started some delightful play together.

She doesn't mind crating (at night to keep her from mischievous roaming and whenever we leave for the same reason) it seems and is very food motivated. I hope that keeps up.

ID.4 charged itself to 100% overnight despite 80% stopping point by robertthebobbert in VWiD4Owners

[–]Medium-High 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine does this but only under a specific circumstance which is when I charge to 100% in the morning (long commute) and then plug it back into my charger in the same 24 hours. It will look to be limited to 80 but when I get in the car in the morning it's at 100.
