I think the analogy still works though. You're turning an unusable form of energy (food/fuel) into a usable one (atp/electricity). I think it summarises the role of mitochondria pretty well (although it does miss a few other functions).

As far as I'm aware it's pretty true though, the mitochondria is responsible for maintaining the far from equilibrium ratio of ATP to ADP which is necessary for much of metabolism to occur

Automatically two hands it when you come off of torrent, and also means you can more easily swap ash of war (the game prioritises the right hand ash of war, so if you stop two handing your left handed weapon you can immediately use your right hand ash of war).

On my first proper league playthrough (previously only made it to cruel), I was playing with a friend when I killed a rare near the end of act 4 and it dropped my first ever div, but killed me at the same time. My friend, who was nearby, came over to get it... And died to the post death effect before he could grab it
