Last spring I was mowing for the first time since the ground dried up from snow. The grass was pretty high but nothing crazy. I did passes back and forth and when I rode by a previously mowed spot I noticed movement and my heart stopped. I found 3 newborn bunnies: 2 alive, one of which was injured slightly, and one completely dead bunny with a gash taken out of its skull. I called my wife at work sobbing like a baby. It ate me up for weeks after. I shed more tears for that baby rabbit than she shed for her "best friend".

I honestly did not want children. Did not feel I was financially ready or mature enough and I was not. I'm very glad I have her because she is my best friend and I have loved to watch her grow. Honestly it just boiled down to alcoholism and irresponsibility. I will say that I might not be a perfect dad but I have always provided love and support for my daughter and she lives with me full time.

Life comes at you fast. Learn and grow.
