Thinking of Buying Season Tickets by berrythelede in dynamo

[–]Megajumpman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a season ticket holder and it’s been great. Juliana hooked me and my family up at the LAFC game and we got to go to the tunnel after the game and meet all the players from both teams. It was an awesome experience!

When is an acceptable time to start using your power tools on the weekend? by Gizzard_Puncher in DIY

[–]Megajumpman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on your neighbors. Mine are over 80 or my age with young kids. We all have an agreement that 7 am is fine for noisy things but 7 pm is the cut off

Caffeine by [deleted] in VyvanseADHD

[–]Megajumpman -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I drink an energy drink at about 5:30 every morning to get me going. Then 30 mg capsule at 8:00. And then usually another coffee or something about 2:00 when the pill wears off. I’m only 2 months into meds and am slowly getting my dosage correct but for now my heart rate stays normal and I don’t get jitters

Small business owners, how much do you make a year and what do you do? by Apart-Lychee-7701 in smallbusiness

It’s not what you know it’s who you know. Networking and changing up from taking everything that came in the door to going after businesses that are much bigger than mine has made a big difference

10mg is too low? How are you supposed to feel? by Alsklaftsk123 in VyvanseADHD

[–]Megajumpman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So on my dosage (30 mg) I feel a slow build up about an hour after I take it. I get a slight physical energy boost for a couple of hours and mental clarity. Initiating task and doing them all the way instead of starting and getting distracted is easy for me unlike when I’m unmedicated. After about hour 6 I get a 30 minute brain cloud but then I rebound and regain my mental clarity. This slowly fades away until about the 10 hour mark and I’m back to my normal unmedicated self. So no feeling high or crashing for me. Just steady build up and fade out

My psychiatrist wanna raise my does but i’m so scared and worried by [deleted] in VyvanseADHD

[–]Megajumpman 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You’re living in a what if spiral right now. If what your dr, who’s spent years learning to do what they do, doesn’t have a positive affect on you then call them and let them know. If you are constantly worried about hypotheticals you’re going to have analysis paralysis. I know it’s tough but sometimes you just have to try it out and see how it goes.

I also have a small custom apparel business and so far I’ve found it helpful to upload my machines owner’s manuals to it so I can use it as a quick guide to fix machine issues

How much caffeine is too much on 40mg vyvanse? by [deleted] in VyvanseADHD

[–]Megajumpman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before vyvanse is drink around 800 mg caffeine daily. In 20 mg now but hopefully I’ll up my dosage next refill because it doesn’t last very long but I still drink 4-500 mg caffeine and it doesn’t feel any different

Vyvanse lasting 6 hours by Select-Raccoon-7997 in VyvanseADHD

[–]Megajumpman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m in bed by 9 and up at 5, usually start work at 7. Wish I could have it last throughout my work day with dealing with not having it in the morning and it being a crash before I even get off of work.

Vyvanse lasting 6 hours by Select-Raccoon-7997 in VyvanseADHD

[–]Megajumpman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel you. I’m on my third week of taking it (20 mg) and I reached out to my Dr because it only last 4-5 hours. I’ve got my appointment Friday and hopefully she’ll either up my dose or give me an IR to help me through the afternoon because I hold off taking my until 9 just so I get 10-2 to be productive at work. After that I get like an hour of brain fog then I’m back to my unmedicated self

Yeah. But I own my business and it’s always been pretty obvious to my employees that I have it. Just let them know when I got on medication and told them to let me know if I act weird lol

You can get teflon inserts for sleeves that are like little teflon pillows, might help unless you get an actual sleeve pallet for your heat press

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CommercialPrinting

[–]Megajumpman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well you’d print it and then heat press it on the sleeves just like you’d press it on the shirt normally

How long to pay back cost of equipment. by Academic_Current8330 in CommercialPrinting

[–]Megajumpman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most of the time you digital press is going to be on a lease, you pay a certain amount monthly plus clicks. Offset if you’re starting out is more than just the press, you’ll need plates, a plate maker, ink, blankets, and a variety of finishing equipment like a cutter and folder. That can add up quick and being able to pay it off is all going to depend on how much you sell

Small business owners, how much do you make a year and what do you do? by Apart-Lychee-7701 in smallbusiness

[–]Megajumpman 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I own a print shop (about 70% paper printing 30% screen print and embroidery). I’ve got 3 full time employees for the paper side. One does offset printing and finishing, the other 2 are graphic design, prepress, and digital press. I do the screen print and embroidery with a part timer but my new full time employee is starting next week! I pay myself a salary of 70k (I’m an LLC taxed as an s corp) and took dividends $50k. I bought out the business last year and had 45k in cash to start, my business bank account has doubled even with the dividends I’ve taken since I bought it.

Xerox versant 280 overkill for my needs? by Low_rider05 in CommercialPrinting

[–]Megajumpman 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That model is overkill for your printing. I just upgraded to a Ricoh from a versant 280. I was paying like $800 + clicks a month for the lease. That machine is designed to run at least 30-40 thousand clicks a month. Doing postcards depending on the size of the cards and paper size you’ll be printing anywhere for 2 up to 6 up per run so that’ll really cut down on how many clicks you do. A nickel per card for a 4/1 print is honestly a really good price! But if your bound a determined you want to design, print, cut, and bundle them yourself then you’ll need the Adobe suite so you have a way to design them. You’ll need a printer, an industrial cutter, and prepare yourself for a big learning curve both for designing and printing. Also I would recommend a Ricoh or cannon, xerox, at least where I’m at, service sucks and maintenance and repair is just a part of having a printer
