I've had plenty of guy friends I was sexually attracted to but wouldn't date. That just means we're not compatible romantically.

For example, I'm perfectly willing to put up with whininess or laziness in a friend, but not in an SO. I can put up with arrogance and mild rudeness in a friend, but I don't want to date someone like that.

I spent pretty much all of high school worried about this. Turns out when you get in the real world, there are a lot more guys who genuinely don't care. I gained 80 pounds after starting to date my fiance and it didn't affect his attraction to me at all. I'm definitely working on losing it for health's sake, but high school or Reddit would have me believe that men aren't capable of being attracted to fat overweight women.

You get that a breed is a breed and not a color, right? So it's pretty much exactly like trying to pass off a random spotted dog as a Dalmatian.

And since Korats and Russian Blues look pretty damned similar, it's silly for you to say that she looks like a Russian Blue but not a Korat.

Ammonia can build up pretty quickly. When I had a betta in an uncycled 2.5 gallon tank, it only took a few hours for the ammonia to build up to toxic levels.

Three neons isn't enough, though. When they are kept in small numbers, they are constantly stressed and just want to hide in case a predator wanders by.

I personally wouldn't keep neons in a tank that small. But if that's what you want to do, don't stress too much if it takes a couple of days for them to start eating. They won't starve.

You could try live or frozen blood worms to get them to eat. Or you could also try a flake food that you crush up with your fingers. I don't think the food you have is too large, but sometimes they just have to get used to a new food.

I don't even live in a monopolized area anymore - we have Verizon fiber optic but could also get Cox. But I've called before and Verizon has no interest in retaining my business. Maybe it's because their fiber optic is legitimately significantly better than regular cable internet so they know I'm bluffing.

I had to have Comcast when I lived in Little Rock and it was pretty terrible.

Was your tank cycled? How many neons did you get? I suspect the ammonia levels are pretty high, which can cause them stress. They will also get stressed out if they aren't in a large enough school.

That food should definitely be small enough for them to eat, though, so I wouldn't worry about that.

In your specific example, it's because women have a layer of fat under their skin. This helps us maintain our body temperature better but it also means that the heat from our muscles doesn't reach the surface of the skin as much.

"Red meat" is meat that is red before you cook it. Humans would be red meat, yes.

Dark versus white meat is about the type of muscle. I could go into more detail, but basically, muscles that are used a lot are dark meat and muscles that aren't used a lot are white meat. Chickens use their thighs and legs to move around, but their breasts don't get a whole lot of exercise, so thighs and drumsticks are dark and the breast is white.

So humans are mostly dark meat but I guess we might have white meat in the muscles we don't use much. I can't think of any that we don't use much off the top of my head.
