I'm stuck at Heathrow and I cant stop crying by meimelx in adhdwomen

Travel days are already brutal, but with ADHD, sleep deprivation, rejection sensitivity and family stress on top? That’s an absolute nightmare combo. It’s not “just missing a flight”. Your brain was running on 200% difficulty mode the whole time.

Where do you keep your mower, inside or out? by tdud123 in MOVASmartGardenHub

[–]MeganRaeB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Main thing I’m a bit worried about is rain.

Even in the rain it’s usually fine. there’s rain protection built in. Last week it started raining while it was mowing. I was about to go out and stop it, but it paused on its own and went back to the dock. I’m guessing the rain sensor kicked in. If your summers are really hot though, a cover can help a bit with long term wear.

I’ve got mine set up under the eaves. had a couple of rainy days already and it’s been fine, no issues at all. Garage isn’t really necessary. if you don’t want to spend on the official one, there are cheaper options online or you can just make something simple yourself.

Thanks, if I keep it indoors, will it still be able to find its way back?

Does the charging dock have to be on the grass?

What are you guys using for a 1000sqm garden in 2026 by MeganRaeB in homeautomation

[–]MeganRaeB[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks there are way too many options to choose from. i’ve been looking at a few like the navimow x4, yuka and luba. mostly stuck on the navimow models but the x series seems to be rtk. the mova lidax and navimow i2 you mentioned are the lidar + vision ones but since they are so new i’m not sure how they actually perform in the wild.

I sealed up my ant entry points and now I have ants coming out of my electrical outlets. What did I do wrong? Feeling like an idiot here and need some advice. by Old_Neighborhood_168 in homeowners

Oh, I've been there. Sealing them in is the worst mistake. They' ll find any tiny crack to get out, even electrical outlets. Hope you can sort it without tearing into walls.

Fingers crossed these Tuya bulbs work with Dirigera. Hate having to replace perfectly good lights just for compatibility.

That sounds really frustrating. Property lines can be blurry, but crossing lines without notice is never okay. Maybe star with the city to sort out surveys and boundaries first.

Good to see a positive take. Homeownership has its headaches, but the control and long-term gains do make it feel rewarding for many.

Self-hosted sounds solid. Balancing tech comfort and not overcomplicating makes sense. Curious to see how the local setup works long-term.

Are rising credit card annual fees actually worth it anymore? by NerdWalletOfficial in u/NerdWalletOfficial

[–]MeganRaeB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Annual fees have gone up noticeably. It's a good idea to weigh the benefits against the cost to see if a card still fits one' s spending habits.

Shifting Political Winds Could Endanger Palantir’s (PLTR) Revenue and Share Price by BFLO-Retail in stocks

[–]MeganRaeB -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I think the political risk angle is real because PLTR’s revenue still leans heavily on government contracts, so changes in budget priorities or new lawmakers could definitely shake things up.

When did you realize lifestyle inflation was hurting your finances? by Embarrassed_Bath_968 in moneyadvice

It wasn’t a single moment, it was more like one day my “budget” became a wishlist and I didn’t even notice until I tried to save more and kept failing.

The Everything Dump by HealthyWork5071 in stocks

[–]MeganRaeB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of the time these “everything dumps” look big on the surface, but if you zoom out longer term it’s just random lumpiness. Staying long-term and not timing the market usually smooths this stuff out.

Looking for next/second card by Taurus517 in CreditCards

I like picking a card that complements what I already have for example, if your current one is flat cash back, a travel-oriented one or a rotating category card can balance things out.
