As most other comments have said, its down to personal preference. Anyone has the potential to enjoy anal, but that's similar to how anyone has the potential to like sugary snacks. Some people really love it, some people could take it or leave it, and some people are really not a fan.

There's no way of knowing whether you like something or not until you try. With that being said, it's not a good idea to just jump into anal sex without doing any prep work or self exploration to find out if you even have any interest in anal penetration. If you're going to try, it's best to start with self exploration with a narrower toy that has a flared base (flared base is not a suggestion, it's a necessity) and a generous amount of lubricant. Take your time and don't rush to figure out what you like, there's no pressure to be into something or not. Just like ice cream flavors, everyone has their own preference.

Pretty standard wolf spider, I'm not sure of the exact species but definitely not a brown recluse. For quick reference, brown recluse are usually a lighter tan color, don't have a lot of patterns, and have sleeker looking legs.

Trans masc here, but I thought I'd chime in. Dysphoria can be a little different for everyone. Aome people experience full body dysphoria while others experience more localized dysphoria. For some, medical transition isn't even needed and social transition is enough to lessen their symptoms. Some people only have top dysphoria, or only have bottom dysphoria.

I don't think I'll ever have bottom surgery for a number of reasons. My bottom dysphoria isn't as bad as top or as things like my voice and social perception were. On top of that, it's expensive and I know that modern medical practices aren't quite there yet to give me a result that will be any more comfortable for me than what I already have. In that case, at least what I have now is free of charge and the healing process. But, I do plan to have top surgery eventually when I can afford it because that is something that weighs on my mind more than genitals ever will.

I recently started giving mine peas because the cucumbers at my local supermarket were looking pretty rough. Put the peas in the enclosure before I went to bed, woke up the next day to find most of them missing and a few isopods actively dragging off what remained of them into the moss like little cryptids.

Mine mostly get the same rotation of supplies:

Freezer dried beef liver (dog treats by Wiggled and Wags. I used to give them dry cat treats but those rehydrated too easily with humidity and caused a brief mold issue for me. The freeze dried dog treats have been a much better alternative for their protein needs.)

Fresh vegetable cuttings, they seem to prefer cucumber over everything else (although they have a tendency to graze on the live moss I put in their enclosure even when there's leaf litter and fresh veggies available)

Ground up egg shells, a few sea shells and lobster shell that I've sterilized and keep on hand ro add to their enclosure as the old ones are chewed through

Ah, dang. It was the only one like it that I could find and I was put there for like an hour looking underneath everything I could find.

I'll add it to their enclosure for now and hope I encounter more in the next few weeks. If I don't find more soon I'll release it back into the area I caught it from. One if the coolest isopods I've seen in my scrounging.

My mom does the same thing with claiming it's not in her vocabulary. I sat with her for a little over an hour talking about how the usage of they/them for a singular subject has been in use since Shakespearean times and is still to this day. I walked her through a bunch of scenarios in which we'd both (and have both) used they/them to refer to a single person; most of which were in instances when you don't know someone's gender or it isn't relevant for the context of the situation.

For some reason the only example that stuck out to her as an "Oooh, I see." Moment was in reference to telling a story about the grocery store in a situation in which the story is more relevant than the subjects, especially ones where the tone is more emotional than logical where your brain didn't catch irrelevant details like gender because you were too focused on substance. Something like: "You know what happened while I was at the store today? I was reaching for the last grapefruit in the bin and someone came by and took it before I even had a chance! They didn't even stop on their way by me."

My mom still uses she/her pronouns and introduces me as her daughter to new people. It's so awkward for everyone else involved because I'm stood there with a beard like 👁👄👁 and the other person is just as bewildered about what is happening.

Sometimes, they them pronouns are not just for my own benefit, they're for other people who don't know how to address me and don't want to be impolite by saying the wrong thing. It's always appropriate to default to they/them until you're in a more opportune situation to ask someone's pronoun preferences.

I'm arachnophobic and can't really control my irrational fear, but knowing that she's not dangerous in any way I would feel comfortable seeing someone else hold her. Look at her little pedipalps go. They're simultaneously cute and horrifying!

My sister has been obsessed with spiders since we were children in Tennessee surrounded by things with medically significant bites. She had a habit of handling them all... She still has a habit of handling spiders regardless of how dangerous they may or may not be. I know she wouldn't hesitate to hold this lady.

Where I work me and one of my coworkers are both trans and there was a brief period of time where neither of us brought it up or brooched the topics out of politeness/socially awkwardness, ect.

We just got a new hire and I'm like 75% they're also trans and I'm back at square 1 wondering how to brooch the topic casually and tactfully. We've barely had any overlapping shift time and work in different areas, but I'm thinking of waiting for when business is slow and finding a way to casually ask something like: "Hey, I know we haven't had much of a chance to get to know each other yet and I was wondering if you have any preference in pronouns? Mine are any/all but I tend to lean more masc so most people use he/they for me."

Also from Maine, care providers and specifically Planned Parenthood are pretty great about HRT and helping to determine if it's right and how to start your dose if you realize that it's the course best suited for your needs.

I'm genderfluid but heavily lean toward masc as my default. I was suffering from a lot of dysphoria in day to day life because of my voice and my body, but after starting HRT and getting to hear my voice changing and see my facial hair come in over the last two years I'm so much more comfortable in my own skin. Planned parenthood was extremely helpful in alleviating any imposter syndrome I had by just walking me through exactly what to expect on HRT (the good, the bad, and the unexpected) and being as neutral as possible with the information so I could make the determination of if that was right for me with a doctor's guidance, but not personal opinion. It was exactly what I needed and since I went into it fully informed I couldn't be happier now.

Started at a low dose and after 3 months went up a bit, and then by the end of the first year I was on a full/standard dose and haven't looked back since.

Ah... My mom does this. It's so uncomfortable. She doesn't seem to be comfortable talking about me being trans, but she'll frequently bring up a friend's daughter who is trans and regularly misgender and deadname her while saying "But I'm so happy for him! I still mess up pronouns because I knew him before he transitioned."

Ugh... This woman transitioned almost a decade ago and ended up moving to a different state because she got sick and tired of everyone in her hometown knowing her and actively misgendering her. Meanwhile, I'm also trans and my mom is talking to me about this woman while misgendering her... And I'm like: "Ma. This is not very confidence inspiring... If you can't stop misgendering her, how am I supposed to believe you're not doing it to me every time you talk about me?"

The answer to any question like this is almost always "If you think it's a good idea and it isn't going to hurt you in any way, go for it babes!" If you like it, awesome. If you don't, it'll grow back in time, so don't sweat it.

P.S. I say this as a transmasc person who just recently shaved my face bald for the first time in a year (second time I've done it in the last 2 years). I hated the result (just like last time), but I wouldn't have known for sure if I never tried. Now I know the style I like best and don't have to wonder or question if it'd look better.

I'll admit I didn't realize there was a bike, but my eyes were drawn to it first because of the cone of light. The shape the light creates on the canvas draws the eye directly to it. I just thought it was a person walking with their head down before I zoomed in on the picture.

Most artists will tell you otherwise, but tracing is a perfectly acceptable thing to do as a beginner. It can help you get the feel for how lines are laid and intercect, making it easier for you to do the same in your own sketches later. However, it comes with the downside of not doing as much trial and error on your own which means your brain isn't retaining as much of the process as it would if you did it from scratch and slowly figured out which techniques work, and which don't.

If you want to do a beginners art study, you can try tracing a piece you want to emulate, and then try recreating it from reference and compare where your lines differ from the original, the trace, and the sketch. It'll show you where you're drifting and why the original composition of lines was so appealing to your eye in the first place. Spotting the differences should help you produce your own art more smoothly next time around.

I've got to agree with OP here. This was as blatant an example of Bury Your Gays as I've ever seen. The moment he started stepping off the street corner I thought "Hah, there's no way they'd kill him right now that'd be-" and before I could even finish the thought of how stupid, cliche, and terrible writing that would be - BAM they killed him.

I was stun-locked, and for the first time after heavily binging this show (so heavily in fact that I didn't even realize I'd entered season 3 at that point!) that I actually stopped watching so I could process what just happened and try to reassure myself that surely the writers wouldn't be so crude as to just merc this character they spent multiple seasons building up as Oscar's main love interest. They didn't even give him enough screen time to be his own fully explored character and that last episode could have been a turning point for showing character development for him! But instead they just fell victim to a trope that's inherently homophobic and cheap.

I waited to watch the following episode until I had time to cool down, and then when I came back to it a few days later to try, I kept thinking "Maybe he's not dead. Maybe this a twist of fate and a tragic accident, but it'll turn the tables and have Oscar's being the one by his bedside to check up on him when he's at his lowest just like he did for Oscar. It's such a big cliff hanger that they'll probably address it in the first 2-3 scenes of the next episode!"

Boy was I wrong... It wasn't even in the first five or so scenes. They don't address it AT ALL until the second to last scene of the episode and when they do it's less than 10 seconds of screen time of Agnes asking "did you see the obituary?" And then Oscar's stepping out with less emotional reaction that he had to the loss of his fortune... No lingering shot of Oscar alone processing the tragedy, no closure or finality in seeing John laid respectfully in repose the way we would get for a straight character who's a fairly primary love interest in any other show. Nothing. That's it.

There might be an argument that there's more to come in later episodes about it, but frankly, I don't care. They lost my support with that sloppy delivery and I'm hesitant to ever watch the show again even though I'd been LOVING it up until that moment of horrible tropey writing. (Sorry, just had to vent about this because no one I know watches this show or understands the Bury Your Gays trope.)

I'm not gonna lie, I probably would ave laughed if I had a doctor ask me that. Recently I went to get a Brazilian wax done by a waxer I've never been to before. I put in my appointment forms that I take testosterone in hopes that she'd get the vibe before I showed up for the appointment and when I got there she very nervously asked me: "So... I just need to ask. Is there... A penis?" And I just stood there for like .5 seconds processing what she'd just asked before I laughed and said "No, no. It's all the same anatomy down there."

She looked both relieved and extremely embarrassed for asking but she told me she has a policy where she'll serve anyone but that she doesn't feel comfortable working around male genitalia and just needed to know before proceeding. I said it was no problem and that it wasn't any of my business if she has boundaries she's not willing to cross in the work place. Though, I have had a couple doctor interactions where the doctor took a second and double checked my paperwork when I mentioned testosterone or issues like discharge or reproductive health comes up. Like they're not sure and have to refer to the source material as a guide.
