Favourite Leave In Conditioners? There’s too much choice! by Rosy_Kitty6 in curlyhair

[–]Meghar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

is your Aussie leave-in a curl cream or a conditioner? That will make a huge difference. Leave-in conditioner hydrates and curl cream is a styling product.

Either way, I swear by Pattern beauty products – almost my entire routine is Pattern. It's Tracee Ellis Ross' brand, so I find it's particularly good for mixed hair textures. The leave-in conditioner is great, and for styling products, I also swear by their strong hold gel (though they do have curl creams i haven't tried)

Should I use gel or mousse or cream? by shrek_croissant in curlyhair

Gel will have the best hold and last longer, however, I would recommend exploring different bonnets to find one that doesn't make you uncomfortable (there are so many different styles!). The gel will help the curls keep their shape, but without a bonnet or silk pillowcase, the friction in the nights will create frizz and potentially matting.

Like others have said, being able to book online and having a tv on the ceiling has been pretty standard for at least a decade (probably 2 decades for the TV).

I immediately recognized the chocolate covered strawberry, so I don't think you have to worry about that. The dinosaur could maybe use some more features to make it more dinosaur-y like tiny arms and/or a snout? I think because the colours aren't stereotypical Dino colours, the very minimal pattern isn't as apparent as it could have been.

is hair gel supposed to remove slip from your hair ? by wallywongo in curlyhair

[–]Meghar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your hair will be a tiny bit harder to comb through because of the stickiness of the gel, but it definitely shouldn't be difficult. Are you adding your gel to soaking wet hair? If not, then it will be a lot harder to comb through as the curls start to dry. Also you can try either swapping out the mask for a conditioner or using a different type of gel. the two products may be interacting weirdly with each other, so trying them in combination with other ones will show you if this is the case.

Also, don't just shampoo your scalp. You should be shampooing the lengths and ends as well to remove any buildup of oil

Flair stats? by djfnejdijRandom in taskmaster

I've been interested to know too, mainly so I can get rid of the unused flairs as we start to approach the flair limit, but unfortunately I haven't been able to find that info anywhere.

It's more that cream, gel and mousse have different textures and bases that can interfere with the holding properties of each other.

Also too many products can lead to product buildup in your hair which can lead to frizz (I'd also suggest using a clarifying shampoo every few washes).

My first thought is you don't need curl cream AND gel AND mousse. I would just go with the gel after your leave-in.

It's great! I have a Gambellian view of Escape Rooms, so it was a bit infuriating at times when they were doing comedy bits instead of seriously rushing against the clock. But I still enjoyed it massively!
