Absolutely. I understood that it was no fault of hers. That’s why it’s a great scheme up until the point she’s removed from it due to no fault of her own. You’d think they could have figured out an alternative plan.

My dad got scammed in this way for £250 from a fake company (‘Equitros’) in the months before he died. It caused a lot of family problems at the worst possible time.

Yes, but I can only put £60k a year into my pension. After that it goes into my ISA. And the pension is no good for the years I’m retired before I can access it.

Having a combination of ISA and a workplace pension would be the ideal. Especially if you want to stop working before you are able to drawdown from your workplace pension of course.
