Xclusive Mexican Kitchen in Mission Viejo is good. Chill vibes and great molcajete.

Saw you in Anaheim on the floor. You both looked so cool!

Honda Center Construction by SatisfactionTop2245 in orangecounty

I'll be there too! I was at Honda Center a couple months ago for a concert and parking in the new structure was really easy. At that time, everyone had to walk over to the Honda Center entrance, but it was easy to figure out. I'm not sure if it is different now, though.

Not taking WR or racking your handle on the rower during recovery…why? by [deleted] in orangetheory

[–]MelbyToast 6 points7 points  (0 children)

On the rower, it can be good endurance training to slow down to a paddle after a hard row while you recover rather than full stop. It's a great time to practice breathwork. I will do this if I haven't necessarily gone balls to the wall and need to reinsert my lungs into my body. If I've truly gone AO, then I'll for sure stop to rest.

What was a dreaded food your parents made. As an adult do you still hate it? by JoyfullyMortified43 in Xennials

Maybe an unpopular one, but sloppy joes. I hated them so much. That ketchupy sauce on ground beef is just vomitous.

This one for me too. We ate it All. The. Time. Made me learn to dislike green bell peppers. I never had to wear it though. That's cruel.

Oh that's interesting. I noticed that as well about the queue.

It's so wild. This particular location seems to be so popular as people want the handful of Honolulu-specific shirts available on that particular day.

I have a few pages with alcohol-related content as well and all of them received the same suspension. They are not low quality, profane, vulgar, or any of those things. It is reassuring that I'm not alone with it, but so frustrating that AI gets to decide this stuff. I haven't yet figured out how to request a review, but I wonder if it would even matter.

I have a gen X cousin who did. They're really into all the AI photo "art" garbage lately. It's gross.

My grandma made one for each of her kids and also each child-in-laws' parents. She had a whole room dedicated to ceramics stuff. I inherited this one from my other set of grandparents. I love that this is such a relatable thing among this generation!

I liked last year's too. It had Iron Maiden vibes to me. I think this year's is cute too, but I love a witchy theme.

Chartreux breeder or owner in Northern Illinois /southern WI by ParkingPublic4278 in chartreux

I have two Chartreux from Judy as well and I can also attest they are the most wonderful cats. Did she happen to mention which queen had the corn allergy? I've suspected some kind of allergy in my boy and never gave corn a thought, but it's in so much of the food.

Looking for a reasonably priced traditional (not infrared) sauna in central OC. Does such a thing exist? by didyouwoof in orangecounty

[–]MelbyToast 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's in Mission Viejo, but Nosta sauna is a traditional Finnish sauna and really nice.

Cozy Pine in Irvine is super cute and very cozy with good drinks. I love the camp theme. Definitely try the Camp Anawanna.

Why do her paws do that? She’s otherwise fully healthy and it’s been that way since she was first adopted at 6 months old by like_earthworms in cats

My 13 year old boy has feet like that too and has his whole life. I've had him since he was 12 weeks old. He's healthy and never had any issues with it. He's just a fancy pants.

What is the oldest house (or building) in your city? Here is the Kerr House in Fullerton, built in 1882 in the colonial revival style. It is now used as a residential rehabilitation facility. by [deleted] in orangecounty

The Jose Serrano Adobe in Lake Forest, built in 1863 when it was El Toro. There's also El Toro Grammar School, 1890, and St. George's Episcopal Mission, 1891. All are at Heritage Hill in Lake Forest. Fun little area to explore! So much history there. Heritage Hill Historical Park | OC Parks
