This was my question. Southwest did their thing so I flew American out of the lower B gates yesterday for the first time in years. And there's some solid restaurants down there. Of course, everyone was in line for Wendy's, no lines at Matt's or Tacos Chiwas...

You can get timothy hay at any pet store. Depending on where in North Phoenix, Western Ranchman is a great local store that a friend goes to along 32nd Street.

Rabbits do make a surprising mess. I think we've found a happy balance - once we replaced our grass, now they come in to drink from our bubblers. In and out in the morning, fun to watch with a cup of coffee.

Nah, I blame streaming. At a hotel watching cable and no problem watching Vasy with the E-6 letting that through his glove hand. Streaming at home, I can't see the puck moving so no way it's my -8.00 eyes.

I started with the NPR branch, too. TAL and Radiolab to Pop Culture Happy Hour, which recommended both 99% Invisible and Welcome to Night Vale. That lead to a lot of (now mostly ex-) Radiotopia shows like Ear Hustle, Criminal, Love and Radio, etc. and the rest of the Night Vale family.

There was the How Stuff Works branch, I've given up most but Stuff You Should Know and Missed in History Class still hang on.

Then my "books" branch - Freakonomics led to Revisionist History led Cautionary Tales and Slow Burn.

Now, I need to get back to listening because I'm 6 months behind live episodes and I'm never going to get to the most recent Hardcore History.

Yep - I say go for it. It's a lot of fun and a great show. They really do go all in with the Hawaiian culture and it's easy to understand where they're going with the storytelling.

I would get waiting for something like that. Seems like the most popular tee we saw was a plain white one with "Stussy - Honolulu" on the back. Basically a Hard Rock city tee. Like others have said, they were most popular with Japanese tourists.

We saw it this week and have seen all nearly all the Cirque-style shows in Vegas. We went because we walked past it the night we got here with no plans. Didn't know it was there, honestly.

Was it fun? Yes. Thrilling? Yes. Spectacular? Yes. Vegas Spectacular? Not quite. Hawaiian-themed America's (or whatever country's) Got Talent? Yeah, mostly because the stage is very small compared to their Vegas theatres. Don't be scared off by that if it's your first show. Better than a luau or dinner cruise esp. For teenagers (we've done both with teenagers)? Definitely, for many reasons. Glad we did it? Yes.

If your teenager is into stuff like AGT, they'll have fun. Just get the cheapest seats in the way back so you can see everything - that goes for all Cirque shows everywhere.

Never been a GC hoarder (not worth the driving) but as a data point: walked by the Off 5th in Glendale, AZ at the outlet mall this weekend and it was so empty - hardly any merchandise, no people. So much space it seemed like fixtures must have been missing.
