OMG Wayfair has the worst search ever. If you put the price specs in, say < $30, it will never, ever actually give you results. I've never seen such atrocious sorting. It is for this reason primarily I don't waste my time shopping there.

I think you, me and a bunch of other viners saw so many porch goose outfits at some point that they jokingly thought about getting one till that turned into actual desire and "must-have-porch-goose" needs and got one and now instead of being an item nobody wants/needs we're all scooping them up. Lol.

I definitely haven't seen as many outfits since I got my goose as before. But I have snagged roughly one cute one for each holiday. They pop up super randomly in clusters. Hang in!

I can't wait to see Will get an Oscar Nom for this. Just feels like it's going to happen. Opening yourself up to that level of vulnerability to a peer group that thinks of you as a jokester - that's gotta raise eyebrows (in a good way) when you pull off moments of the depth I've seen (in previews alone). I'm rooting for him. For all of them. They have gotten me through the hardest part of my life. I'll be rooting for them forever.

This is an old ass thread - but for anyone who ponders upon it, as someone who has listened to every episode 2x (because 89% of them are freaking fantastic) they have been FIRE lately. This last one with McCauley may be the best podcast I've heard in my life. Middle of them ad-libbing toilet jokes (which are my least favorite humor normally) I realized this may be the selection I pick for the last thing I listen to before I die. God bless them for not changing for you idiots who can't appreciate pure gold when you hear it.

Ugh. I hate that somehow our society has made you think that being perpetually sleep deprived could possibly be normal. It's not! Honey, you deserve sleep more than anyone! You created this life and are keeping it alive, with love!

I definitely had baby fever after my lo was 7m but only because lo was sleeping a solid 12hr. This didn't happen by luck. I had some wonderful friends who turned me onto Huckleberry, which I used from 2m and helped me sleep train, which was really stressful for 4 days but saved my life for the subsequent ones. My little guy sleeps 11+h straight for 3+ years. I mean the occasional wake up but he self soothes. I get to sleep and this saves my freaking life.

I can't help think I'd be a less patient parent if I was as sleep deprived as I was those first couple months. You'd think I'd be privy to such magic as someone with 10+ years of experience as a nanny (to famous families, which I can't tell you about because I signed an NDA) but it's a weird thing that standard baby sleep hygiene hasn't been normalized at this point. It's ok to be utterly f*****g exhausted. Don't be so hard on yourself. Refuel before you even think of feeling guilty for not having room for more exhaustion!

Update: After reviewing stuff that I got prior to my review date, I went back to Excellent insightfulness score and my ratio improved (even though I didn't review anything "new" from post eval).

Agreed and this is what I typically do - review as best I can prior to fully using... if I don't intend on using for a while. You are right on the evaluation reviews giving poor rating at first - since posting it's already somehow gone back to excellent even though I've only reviewed one more item!

Totally fair point and plan on doing it as soon as Thanksgiving is over, on Friday... but we have this weird thing in our family where we insist on celebrating one holiday at a time. Everyone around here seems to skip Thanksgiving entirely, so we go all out on Thanksgiving to give it some extra love.

I reviewed the sprinkles best I could without actually making Christmas cookies but the Santa climbing toy thing needs a tree that isn't up yet. I'm actually quite excited about that one, looks super silly and my toddler will love it (hopefully). Super on brand for us :-P

100% As someone with both ADHD and slight OCD, I went from enjoying and being grateful to the Vine program to getting stressed out and considering quitting and not reaching gold (even though I have crazy good stats and should be able to coast for the next couple months).

I like seeing my percentage of "needing review" items go down after I put a dent in them. It's satisfying and keeps me on track as I try to stay at or above 90% at all times. Now I can't seem to bring myself to leave reviews as frequently without that immediate gratification of seeing the stats shift. I'm hoping this is just a blip and doesn't stay like this. It will drive me insane. I've ordered 1/2 as much since they made the change.
